Thru hull with removable drainage device
A device for preventing staining of a boat hull includes: a thru hull mounted through the boat hull, the thru hull including a thru hull body, a flange located on an end of the thru hull body, and a lip protruding from a face of the flange; a drainage device mountable on the thru hull, the drainage device including a drainage device body, an inwardly projecting rim located at least partially around the drainage device body, and a drainage lip protruding from the drainage device body. The inwardly projecting rim is shaped such that the drainage device is secured on the thru hull by locating the inwardly projecting rim around at least a portion of the lip protruding from the face of the flange of the thru hull.

Ballast Water Treatment and Neutralization
Techniques and systems for neutralizing discharge waters from ballast and/or cooling water biocidal treatment and disinfection systems are provided. The systems utilize oxidation reduction potential control to regulate the dechlorination of a biocidal agent to allowable discharge levels in ship buoyancy systems and ship cooling water systems.
Apparatus for shellfish aquaculture
A pneumatically controlled shellfish aquaculture apparatus and method for growing shellfish using the apparatus are provided. A frame has containers for holding shellfish secured to the top side of the frame and tanks secured to the bottom side of the frame. Each tank has an air supply line connected to the tank and an opening on the bottom side of the tank. Each air supply line is connected to a manifold for controlling airflow to the tanks. Air is used to displace water in the tanks by pushing the water out of the openings in the bottom of the tanks in order to float the frame. To submerge the frame, the tanks are depressurized to allow water to displace the air in the tanks. When floating, the tanks lift the frame and the containers out of the water to allow air desiccation in order to prevent bio-fouling of the equipment and shellfish.

SELF-FILLING, SELF-SEALING CONTAINER SYSTEM
A container system that includes a container element with a hole or series of holes that are sealed by at least one seal assembly with at least one seal element. When the container system is placed into material to be captured, the seal element of the seal assembly is displaced from the holes when material exerts inward pressure on the seals, allowing the container system to self-fill with material. Once the desired amount of material is captured, the container system is removed and captured material exerts outward pressure on the seal assembly, causing the seal element to close the holes and the container system to self-seal.
Combined trolling motor pedal recess and seat pedestal drain trench
An article of manufacture including molded-in cavities that permit the installation of recessed trolling motor foot pedals and seat pedestal bases in such a manner that allows water to drain away from thereof so as to prevent the accumulation of standing water. The article of manufacture includes a body, wherein the body is a plastic molded boat hull comprised of numerous molded-in cavities and molded-in features to create an interior layout that is comparable to a conventional boat built of aluminum or fiber reinforced plastic.
