Anti-piracy device for ships
An anti-piracy device for ships comprises a blocking device, such as a metal plate, to block an opening from the exterior to the interior of a ship, such as a window or porthole. The anti-piracy device also includes mounts, which are mounted permanently to the interior wall of the ship, to which the blocking device can be removably fastened, by nuts or the like. This allows the device to be installed when entering dangerous waters, but removed and stored when traversing safe waters.

WATERTIGHT DOOR OR WINDOW
A watertight door or window comprising a frame and a leaf mounted on the frame and arranged movably with respect thereto between an open position and closed position, and further comprising: a striker element arranged on the leaf, a locking element arranged on the frame and provided with a hook end designed to engage with the striker element so as to lock the leaf against the frame following closing of the leaf, and a striker actuating mechanism arranged on the leaf and able to be actuated when the leaf is in a closed position and the locking element is engaged with the striker element. The actuating mechanism is provided for releasing the striker element from a closed position, where the striker element is positioned inside a recess in the hook end of the locking element, to an open position, where the striker element is extracted from the recess in the hook end of the locking element. The actuating mechanism can be reset when the leaf is closed again.
WATERTIGHT DOOR OR WINDOW
A watertight door or window comprising a frame and a leaf mounted on the frame and arranged movably with respect thereto between an open position and closed position, and further comprising: a striker element arranged on the leaf, a locking element arranged on the frame and provided with a hook end designed to engage with the striker element so as to lock the leaf against the frame following closing of the leaf, and a striker actuating mechanism arranged on the leaf and able to be actuated when the leaf is in a closed position and the locking element is engaged with the striker element. The actuating mechanism is provided for releasing the striker element from a closed position, where the striker element is positioned inside a recess in the hook end of the locking element, to an open position, where the striker element is extracted from the recess in the hook end of the locking element. The actuating mechanism can be reset when the leaf is closed again.
MARINE VESSEL VENTILATION SYSTEM
Systems and methods of marine vessel ventilation are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a marine vessel includes a hardtop structure disposed about a helm area that includes a support structure coupled to a center console structure and a windshield structure. Further, the windshield structure is disposed between the helm area and a bow area with a portion of the hardtop structure being disposed in the bow area. The hardtop structure includes a ventilation system having an airflow cavity disposed in the hardtop structure with inlet and outlet apertures associated with the respective bow and helm areas. The airflow cavity is configured to enable airflow from the inlet aperture to the outlet aperture. In addition, the ventilation system further includes an inlet or outlet vent structure configured to control the airflow entering or exiting the inlet or outlet aperture.
Marine vessel ventilation system
Systems and methods of marine vessel ventilation are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a marine vessel includes a hardtop structure disposed about a helm area that includes a support structure coupled to a center console structure and a windshield structure. Further, the windshield structure is disposed between the helm area and a bow area with a portion of the hardtop structure being disposed in the bow area. The hardtop structure includes a ventilation system having an airflow cavity disposed in the hardtop structure with inlet and outlet apertures associated with the respective bow and helm areas. The airflow cavity is configured to enable airflow from the inlet aperture to the outlet aperture. In addition, the ventilation system further includes an inlet or outlet vent structure configured to control the airflow entering or exiting the inlet or outlet aperture.

A wall for a watercraft and the watercraft. The watercraft having a hull and a deck supported by the hull. The wall extends around at least a portion of a floor of the deck. The wall includes a rear wall, a front wall, and two sidewalls connecting the rear wall and the front wall. The front wall has a first wall section, a second wall section and an intermediate wall section extending between the first and second wall sections. The first wall section includes a first door while the second wall section includes a second door. The first and second doors are moveable between an opened position and a closed position. The watercraft further includes a seat connected to the deck. The seat is positioned proximate to and aligns with at least one of the first and the second doors.
