Electronically controlled window
10822860 · 2020-11-03 ·

An electronically powered window for a watercraft consists of a shuttle frame, a sliding mechanism, a window pane, and a bottom edge support groove. A first lateral support arm and a second lateral support arm of the shuttle frame along with the bottom edge support groove helps position the window pane within the shuttle frame. The sliding mechanism allows the user to position the window pane such that the window is in an open configuration or a closed configuration. To do so, a first lateral edge is slidably positioned along the first lateral support arm. Moreover, a second lateral edge is slidably positioned along the second lateral support arm.

DOOR LATCH ARRANGEMENT
20200317320 · 2020-10-08 ·

A latch arrangement for a door includes a plurality of steps disposed at an interior of the door. One of the plurality of steps is rotatable relative to the door between a first position and a second position. The door is movable between a closed position and an open position. A latch is in operable communication with the rotatable step. The latch is engageable with a latch receiver to lock the door in the closed position in response to the rotatable step being in the first position. The latch is disengageable from the latch receiver when the step is in the second position thereby allowing the door to move to the open position.

Gasket railing system for a window frame

Embodiments described herein may be directed towards a gasket railing system including a rail, such that the rail includes a rail gasket at least partially disposed within the rail and a leg insertion guide disposed within the rail gasket. The leg insertion guide may form a leg insertion cavity configured to receive a window frame leg. The rail gasket may be made up of a pliable material, and the leg insertion guide may be made up of a rigid material. The window frame leg may be attached to at least one side of a window frame made up of four window sides. The window frame may fully encase a window pane. A first horizontal width of at least one of the window frame sides may be greater than or equal to one half of a horizontal width of the rail.

SYSTEM FOR OPERATING AN AIRCRAFT DOOR

Systems and methods for operating an aircraft door including an airstair are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system comprises a hinge configured to pivotally couple a lower portion of the door to a fuselage of an aircraft, a lift mechanism and an interlock. The lift mechanism causes a movement of the door relative to the hinge between a lowered position and a lifted position. The interlock is configurable between: a locked configuration where the movement of the door relative to the hinge is prevented; and an unlocked configuration where the movement of the door relative to the hinge is permitted.

Ship having anti-sinking and anti-capsize device for emergency
