Foot pedal-powered impeller system
The foot pedal-powered impeller system comprises a foot crank coupled to an impeller drive via a vertical drive shaft. The foot crank, mounted on the top surface of a water craft, may comprise two pedals that couple to a central spindle via crank arms. The spindle may pass through a right angle gear box which translates rotational motion of the spindle into rotational motion of the drive shaft. The drive shaft may turn a shaft gear on the underside of the water craft which engages an impeller tube gear and turns an impeller tube. An impeller mounted within the impeller tube may force water to enter the front of the impeller drive via an intake nozzle, pass through the impeller tube, and exit through a discharge nozzle. The discharge of water may move the water craft.
Spread, span and wheel alignment gauge
The invention disclosed herein is a device, method of use and kit for measuring and precisely setting the dimensions in wheeled and tracked devices or vehicles. It is particularly well-suited for rowing boats and simulators thereof, including but not limited to sweep rowing and sculling watercraft. It introduces a novel gauge and process to adjust wheels within tracked environments to minimize friction and enhance equipment performance. Further, the device is capable of precise measurement of both spread and span dimensions in rowing watercraft to optimize rigging.
FOLDABLE DIVING PLATFORM FOR WAKEBOARD TOWER
A foldable diving platform for attachment to a wakeboard tower. The platform includes a base section affixable to tubing of the wakeboard tower and a folding section hinged to the based section. The folding section may be rotated about the hinge to enable storage atop the base section or full deployment collinear and coplanar with the base section.
Multi-height deck mat
A multi-height deck mat including a first platform having a first top surface, a first bottom surface and a first end surface extending therebetween; a second platform disposed adjacent the first platform and having a second top surface and a second bottom surface and a second end surface extending therebetween; and a hinge connecting the first platform and the second platform for movement of the first and second platforms relative to one another, the hinge element being adjacent the first end surface and the second end surface, whereby the first platform and the second platform can be moved between a first disposition wherein the first end surface is in abutment with the second end surface wherein the deck mat provides a first height; and a second disposition wherein the first platform and the second platform assume a stacked relationship wherein the deck mat provides a second height.
Adjustable mirror bracket
An adjustable mirror bracket is provided for supporting a mirror in a rearward facing position on a watercraft. The mirror bracket includes a base member having a body having a socket formed therein and a spherical bearing within the socket and including a stud projecting therefrom. The mirror bracket also includes a pivot member having a cupped lower end shaped to conform to the hemispherical top end of the base member, a bore formed through the cupped lower end for receiving the stud of the spherical bearing, and an attachment surface formed in an upper end of the pivot member. An elongate support arm is provided and is pivotally attached with a fastener to the attachment surface of the pivot member at the first end of the support arm.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A WATERCRAFT IN RESPONSE TO A FISH BITE
Example systems and methods are provided herein for controlling a watercraft in response to a bite on a fishing line. A system includes a memory and a processor, and the processor is configured to receive data via user input or one or more sensors to determine whether a fish has bitten on a fishing line. In response to a determination that the fish has bitten on the fishing line, the processor causes the watercraft to operate according to a fish-on operation, which includes at least one of altering a speed of the watercraft, altering a direction of the watercraft, altering a rate of change of the speed of the watercraft, altering a direction of a trolling motor, notifying other watercrafts, or engaging an autopilot to navigate the watercraft according to a preset route. The fish-on operation is designed to aid a user in catching the fish.
CASTABLE SONAR DEVICES AND OPERATIONS IN A MARINE ENVIRONMENT
Many different types of systems are utilized and tasks are performed in a marine environment. The present invention provides various configurations of castable devices that can be operated and/or controlled for such systems or tasks. One or more castable devices can be integrated with a transducer assembly, such as a phased array, that emits sonar beams and receives sonar returns from the underwater environment. Processing circuitry may receive the sonar returns, process the sonar returns, generate an image, and transmit the image to a display.
Modular Floating Microgrid Energy Platforms
A floatable energy platform including a buoyant structure capable of floating on water, at least one source of renewable energy carried by the structure, and power transfer equipment capable of recharging at least one type of electric-powered vehicle. Modular platforms can be readily transported and interconnected to provide different energy generation and storage capabilities.
Connecting device
The present invention provides a connecting device for connecting at least two floating bodies, in particular at least two stand-up paddle boards, side by side, comprising: a linkage having at least one rod; and a plurality of fastening means arranged on the at least one rod of the linkage, at least some of the plurality of fastening means being provided axially displaceable along the axis of the at least one rod of the linkage adapted to the respective geometry of the at least two floating bodies such that each floating body can be clamped between at least two fastening means on the at least one rod of the linkage in a positionally stable manner.
