FLOATING PLATFORM
A floating platform is attached to another object. The object may be fixed to the earth or it may be a floating object such as a floating dock or a vessel. The floating platform is held in horizontal position relative to the object to which it is attached, but vertical movement of the floating platform relative to the object is permitted. The object is connected to the floating platform by devices that have blades extending from. Each blade slidably engages a bracket, with the slidable blade permitting horizontal adjustment of the distance of the floating platform from the object during installation of the floating platform. Guide posts or piles slidably engage pile guides mounted to the object, permitting the floating platform to move vertically relative to the object, but fixing the floating platform's horizontal position relative to the object.
USING PLASTIC TO CREATE A FLOATING PLATFORM
Example implementations include a system and method of using plastic from bodies of water and creating a floating platform by collecting plastic from a body of water, cleaning the collected plastic, melting and compacting the plastic, molding a plurality of hexagonal blocks from the compacted plastic, stacking the plurality of hexagonal blocks, wherein a system of springs and an energy storage device is provided between each of the plurality of hexagonal blocks, and coating the stacked blocks with a non-toxic material. Through the use of various onboard functionalities, energy may be generated to regulate temperature and provide electricity, oxygen may be supplied, and water may be purified.

RENEWABLE ENERGY PLATFORM WITH OPTIMISED ASSEMBLY
An offshore renewable energy system mounting platform is provided for positioning a renewable energy converter in a body of water. The platform includes a frame having a first structural member and a second structural member that are positioned adjacent one another at a mating connection and at least one mooring member affixed to the frame at a tethering location which is tethers the frame to a bed of the body of water. Either the first or second structural members comprises a buoyancy and a tension in the mooring member is arranged to counteract the buoyancy to urge the first and second structural members together at the mating connection. The platform may be manufactured as a set of pre-fabricated modular components which are subsequently assembled into the complete platform.

A COUPLING SYSTEM, AN ASSEMBLY OF A VESSEL AND A COUPLING SYSTEM, AND AN ASSEMBLY OF A COUPLING SYSTEM, JACKET PILE AND FOUNDATION PILE
A coupling system to be temporarily coupled to at least one of a jacket pile and a foundation pile comprises an upper fixation member, a lower fixation member and a lifting device for moving the upper and lower fixation members with respect to each other. The coupling system is provided with at least one of a grout transfer line for guiding grout from a grout supply to a space between a jacket pile and a foundation pile upon installing the jacket pile to the foundation pile, and a cleaning device for cleaning the inner and/or outer side of a foundation pile, and a separating device for separating a jacket pile from a foundation pile upon de-installing the jacket pile with respect to the foundation pile, and a measurement device for determining parameters of a jacket pile and/or a foundation pile.
PILE HOLDING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a pile holding system configured to support the pile in an upright position at a pile installation location next to the vessel. The pile holding system comprises a pile holder and a pile holder support system. The pile holder support system is configured to be mounted on the deck of the vessel, to moveably support the pile holder, and to move the pile holder in a first direction between an inboard position and an outboard position. The pile holder, when in the outboard position, is located outside the contour of the vessel, for holding the pile in the upright position at the installation location. The pile holder, when in the inboard position with the first and second jaw in the open position, is located within the contour of the vessel.
Apparatus And Method For Accelerating The Maturation Of Bourbon Whiskey Using Cyclic Motion
An aging apparatus and method for accelerating the maturation of bourbon whiskey distilled spirit having characteristics associated with a much longer maturation process is provided. The method of accelerating the maturation of distilled spirits includes providing a storage warehouse secured in a waterway that produces waves and the storage warehouse has an enclosed interior. The method includes storing a plurality of barrels in the enclosed interior of the storage warehouse with the barrels being filled with distilled spirits. The method also includes moving the storage warehouse and the barrels therein by the waves of the waterway so as to circulate the distilled spirits within the plurality of barrels to thereby accelerate the maturation of the distilled spirits. The aging apparatus includes a base structure and a storage warehouse atop and secured to the base structure. The storage warehouse is sized to accommodate barrels filled with distilled spirts.
