A subsea load monitoring apparatus having: a load sensor having a first end and a second end; a central processing unit configured for processing measurements from the load sensor; a battery for powering the central processing unit; an activation device being configured for activating the central processing unit from an idle operational mode to an active operational mode; a first and a second load attachment means connected to the first and second end of the load sensor, respectively; and an output device for the processed measurements from the load sensor. A subsea load monitoring system and methods for use of the subsea load monitoring system.

TILLER, WATERSIDE THRUSTER, WATERCRAFT, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A tiller, a waterside thruster, a watercraft, a control method, and a storage medium are provided. The tiller includes a base member, a control portion, and a pressure sensor. The base member is connected to a body of the waterside thruster. The control portion is movably connected to the base member for receiving a control input and generating displacement with respect to the base member. The pressure sensor is provided between the base member and the control portion for acquiring a deformation pressure value caused by the displacement of the control portion with respect to the base member. The pressure sensor is triggered to generate a triggered signal when the deformation pressure value conforms to a preset threshold value of the triggered pressure. The triggered signal is configured to instruct that the waterside thruster performs a preset action.

FORCE FEEDBACK CONTROL OF A MARINE VESSEL INPUT DEVICE

A computer system has processing circuitry to control a force feedback unit to progressively increase a force feedback applied to the input device in response to a manual maneuvering of the input device towards a virtual stop position being defined in between an equilibrium position and a mechanical end position of the input device. The virtual stop position is a software-defined set point acting as an intermediate trigger for the input device. The force feedback is progressively increased until it reaches a maximum force feedback at the virtual stop position; and control the force feedback unit to reduce the force feedback applied to the input device at the virtual stop position in response to a force of a manual maneuvering of the input device exceeding the maximum force feedback value.

METHOD, CONTROLLER, CAMERA SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PROVIDING AN ELECTRONIC LOOKOUT FUNCTION FOR AN EGO VESSEL, EGO VESSEL AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
20250392832 · 2025-12-25 ·

A method for providing an electronic lookout function for an ego vessel is described. The method comprises receiving first low-effective-resolution image data from a first camera arrangement of the ego vessel, receiving first high-effective-resolution image data from a second camera arrangement of the ego vessel, checking whether there is any object on the water surface within the circular sectors depending on the low- and high-effective-resolution image data, and generating and outputting an object presence signal when an object is detected on the water surface within the circular sectors.
