A steering system for a boat, a marine vessel or the like, having an outboard motor with an underwater propeller and a removable fastening terminal at the hull, includes a steering control member, such as a steering wheel, a rudder bar or a rudder wheel, and an actuator that changes the orientation of the propeller by changing the angular position of the rotation axis thereof relative to the longitudinal axis of the boat. An intermediate framework, positioned between the stationary part of the boat and the fastening terminal of the engine, includes a housing for at least a portion of the drive assembly and/or of the actuator fastened to the intermediate framework.

The device has a bladder body made of a soft material, developing along and around a central longitudinal axis, defining an internal chamber between a dorsal wall and a ventral wall; in the bladder body, an inlet opening and an outlet opening of a liquid in and out of the chamber, arranged at a longitudinal end of the body; and drive means for driving a contraction of the bladder, arranged on the dorsal wall and having a mechanical connection with the ventral to cyclically attract the ventral wall to the dorsal wall, thereby causing a pulsed ejection of a propeller jet from the chamber through the outlet opening.

A control system for posture control tabs of a marine vessel assists operations of a steering control. The posture control tabs are mounted on a stern of a hull to move up or down to control a posture of the hull. Actuators actuate the respective posture control tabs. When a steering instruction is provided through the steering control, a processor determines the posture control tab to be actuated and controls the actuator corresponding to the posture control tab determined to be actuated so as to change the position of the determined posture control tab.
