WATERTIGHT ELECTRIC ACTUATOR FOR A TRIM TAB ASSEMBLY OR WAKE GATE ASSEMBLY
An actuator comprises a housing and a drive tube assembly disposed within the housing. The drive tube assembly includes a drive tube provided with internal threads, a piston nut provided with external threads which threadedly engage the inner threads of the drive tube, and an output shaft connected to the piston nut. A motor rotates the drive tube to cause the piston nut to reciprocate along a length of the drive tube and the output shaft to reciprocate relative to the housing. There are bearings which transmit axial loads from the drive tube to the housing and transmit radial loads from the drive tube to the housing.

Systems and methods for removal and sequestration of acidity from surface seawater
A method by which an environmental energy (e.g., wave energy) is harvested, converted into electrical power, and thereafter used to electrolyze seawater into hydrogen and chlorine gases. Those gases are recombined into hydrogen chloride from which is formed hydrochloric acid solution which is diluted and deposited at a depth sufficient to ensure its neutralization and sequestration for a significant period of time (e.g., for over a millennium). By removing chloride ions from a portion of the sea adjacent to its upper surface and depositing them into a portion of the sea more adjacent to its bottom, acidity is shifted from the surface to base of the sea, and the surface ocean is given a greater ability to absorb and buffer atmospheric carbon dioxide without a corresponding increase in acidity.

OIL-WATER SEPARATION UNIT AND DISCHARGE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR SMALL SHIP
The present invention relates to an oil-water separator and discharge monitoring system for a ship. The system includes a power supply unit that is provided in the ship and supplies electric power; an oil-water separation unit that receives power from the power supply unit and separates oil and water from each other; and a monitoring module for tracking, in real time, operating states of the power supply unit and the oil-water separation unit, and including a control unit, wherein the oil-water separation unit includes an oil-water tank, a connection pipe connected to the oil-water tank, an oil-water separation pump installed on the connection pipe, and an oil-water separation filter assembly for separating oil and water supplied from the oil-water separation pump, and wherein the oil-water separation filter assembly includes a housing having an inlet portion and a discharge portion for oil and water, a guide member for guiding oil and water flowing into the housing through an inlet port in a spiral direction to form a swirling flow, a first oil filter for primarily separating oil and water flowing in the spiral direction by the guide member by means of centrifugal force, an adsorption material arranged on an upper side of the first oil filter to absorb separated oil thereon, and a second oil filter installed inside the housing so as to secondarily separate the oil and water filtered through the first oil filter.
Apparatus for supporting a flywheel on a floating vessel and methods thereof
An apparatus for supporting a flywheel on a floating vessel includes a support for the flywheel; and a tilt sensor for measuring an angle of slope relative to the Earth, the tilt sensor being arranged to detect a change of an angle of slope of the floating vessel relative to the Earth. The apparatus further includes a driver for manoeuvring the support relative to the floating vessel, based on the measured angle of slope from the tilt sensor, wherein the driver is operable to manoeuvre the support so as to counteract a change of an angle of slope of the flywheel relative to the Earth due to the detected change of an angle of slope of the floating vessel.
A TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A transport system (10) comprising a seagoing vessel (14) with a battery room (18) for at least one swappable battery pack (19) for providing power for at least propulsion of the vessel (14), at least two battery packs (19), of which at least one battery pack is arranged on the vessel (14) when the vessel is in operation, a charging station (23) for charging the battery packs (19), which charging station (23) is located outside the vessel (14), such that the vessel (14) can be positioned close to the charging station (23) for transfer of one or more battery packs (19) between the vessel (14) and the charging station (23), and a transfer device (31) for transferring the battery packs (19) back and forth between the vessel (14) and the charging station (23) when the vessel is positioned close to the charging station (23).
KAYAK POWER PORT AND RAIL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ATTACHMENT
The present invention generally provides a power port device for mounting a monopod. The power port device includes power port typical of a marine vessel, such as a bass boat or speed boat. The power port device would connect to a rail affixed to the side of a kayak. An adjustable mount can be inserted between the power port device and the rail to adjust the angle of the power port device. The monopod can then provide power for mobile accessories, such as cameras and smart phones. The monopod may be fitted with extendable, bendable arms for mounting additional cameras or other electronic devices or for providing additional accessories. The monopod could also include other power outlets, including universal serial bus (USB) or standard power outlet ports.
