Vibration-damped aircraft wheel bin
An aircraft fairing includes a fairing body having an exterior fairing wall and at least one wheel bin. The at least one wheel bin has a side wall extending from an opening in the exterior fairing wall to an end wall. The side wall and the end wall define a cavity of the at least one wheel bin in fluid communication with the opening in the exterior fairing wall. An acoustic resonator is mounted to an outer surface of the side wall of the at least one wheel bin and is in fluid communication with the cavity. The acoustic resonator has a resonant frequency substantially similar to a cavity modal frequency of the at least one wheel bin at an aircraft flight condition.

Fastening assembly including a nut holder and a fastening plate fastened to a substrate
A fastening assembly suitable for being fastened to a substrate with a front face and a first hole. The fastening assembly includes a fastening plate with a second plate with front and rear faces and pierced with a second hole aligned with the first hole. The fastening plate front face is fastened to the substrate rear face. The assembly includes a nut holder with a third plate with front and rear faces and pierced with a third hole aligned with the second hole and a nut fastened to the third plate on the side of the rear face and coaxial with the third hole. The front face of the nut holder is fastened to the rear face of the fastening plate. The fastening plate includes a first fastener that engages with a second fastener of the nut holder to removably fasten the nut holder to the fastening plate.
CASING OF AN AIRCRAFT
The present invention relates to a casing intended to be externally applied, connected or fixed to the fuselage or to a wing of an aircraft or to a central or wing station/hardpoint of an aircraft, the casing entirely or partly delimiting a housing zone (HZ) of a super-orbital, orbital or sub-orbital launch vehicle.
AIRCRAFT SEAL
A blade seal for sealing a gap between a first aircraft component and a second aircraft component, including a flexible seal member having a first end for attaching to the first aircraft component and a second end for extending towards the second aircraft component, a sensor and an actuator directly coupled to the flexible seal member. The sensor is configured to detect deformation of the flexible seal member and send a signal to the actuator in response to the deformation, and the actuator is configured to impart a load on the flexible seal member and to activate only in response to the signal received directly from the sensor by the actuator to counter the detected deformation of the flexible seal member.

ATTACHMENT CONCEPT FOR A FAIRING ON AN AIRFOIL BODY SUCH AS A FLAP OR A WING OF AN AIRCRAFT
An arrangement comprising an airfoil body, a junction mechanism for attaching the airfoil body to a support element of an aircraft, and a fairing for aerodynamically covering the junction mechanism. The fairing has a cover element covering a trailing end portion of the fairing. The cover element is attached to the trailing edge of the airfoil body by a form fit connection.
HINGE WITH INTERNAL ON-AXIS ROTATIONAL STOP AND SHEARING MECHANISMS
A hinge includes internal on-axis stopping mechanisms that cause the hinge to shear and break at an on-axis weakened region of the hinge when rotation of the hinge reaches a predetermined angle with a specified torsional load. The on-axis configuration is compact, has minimal impact on the outer mold line (OML) of the object to which it is mounted both pre and post detachment and allows for accurate tailoring of the torsional load that will detach the hinge.
TRUNCATED FLAP SUPPORT FAIRINGS WITH ACTIVE FLOW CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR AIRCRAFT AND RELATED METHODS
Truncated flap support fairings with active flow control system for aircraft and related methods are disclosed herein. An example aircraft includes a wing having a fixed wing portion, a flap moveably coupled to the fixed wing portion, a flap support fairing coupled to a bottom of the flap, the flap support fairing having an aft end, and an active flow control system including a nozzle. The nozzle is to eject high velocity air in a streamwise direction from the aft end of the flap support fairing.
Aircraft Safety Livesaving System
An aircraft safety lifesaving system, disclosing an aircraft body, wherein an openable safety cabin is provided at the top of the aircraft body, a deceleration device is provided in the safety cabin, and the deceleration device is capable of being ejected from the safety cabin to enable the aircraft body to decelerate and land; a damping and buffering mechanism provided at the bottom of the aircraft body, the damping and buffering mechanism is telescopically provided in the vertical direction, and the damping and buffering mechanism is capable of extending to the position below the aircraft wheel body. A safety cabin is provided at the top of the aircraft body, and a deceleration device in the safety cabin is ejected in an emergency to assist the aircraft body to decelerate; the damping and buffering mechanism extends below the wheel body, and the damping and buffering mechanism contacts with the ground first.
