LATERALLY OFFSET TRANSPORT WHEELS ON HARVESTING HEADER

A transport system for a harvesting header including at least one dolly wheel being laterally shifted towards the main header frame with an acute angle relative to an elongate tongue where the acute angle allows the centerline of the harvesting header to travel essentially colinear with the centerline of the towing vehicle. The transport system may be further provided with gauge wheels being repositionable for use as a trailing wheel assembly and/or the at least one dolly wheel.

STEERING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HARVESTER AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

The disclosure relates to a steering control system useful for providing stable control during high-speed operation of harvesters, such as self-propelled windrowers. The steering control system utilizes a sensor for detecting and regulating a position of a single steering cylinder associated with a first caster, a damper being free of sensing and providing passive damping to the second caster.

An agricultural implement for mounting on a U-shaped foundation frame supported on wheels for travel over a ground surface where the foundation frame includes first and second laterally spaced mounting beams fixed to and extending from a base. The implement is configured to perform an agricultural operation, to rest on the ground surface when in an idle position, and to attach to the foundation frame when in an operating position. The implement comprises a rigid implement portion configured to be attached to the first and second mounting beams at first and second beam locations remote from the base such that the first and second mounting beams are prevented from moving laterally with respect to each other.

A lateral transport system for a harvester including a chassis, first and second ground wheels coupled to the chassis, and a lateral transport assembly operably coupled to the chassis and operable between a transport operation mode and a stowed operation mode. A tongue is pivotally coupled to the chassis, a first suspension element is rotatable about a first axis and a second axis, a second suspension element is rotatable about the second axis, and a hydraulic actuation system is operably coupled to the tongue, the first suspension element, and the second suspension element. In the transport operation mode, hydraulic fluid is allowed to flow into the hydraulic actuation system to rotate the first suspension element about the first axis, and subsequently rotate the first and second suspension elements about the second axis.

AUXILIARY TOOL ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT

An auxiliary tool assembly for an agricultural implement is configured to support a finishing tool(s) at a location at or adjacent to the aft end of the implement. The auxiliary tool assembly includes a support arm extending lengthwise between a proximal end and a distal end, with the proximal end of the support arm being pivotally coupled to a portion of the implement at or adjacent to its aft end so that the tool assembly is pivotable relative to the implement between a work position and a transport position. In addition, the finishing tool(s) is configured to be coupled to or otherwise supported relative to the ground by the support arm at a location between its proximal and distal ends. Moreover, the auxiliary tool assembly includes one or more surface-engaging wheels coupled to the distal end of the support arm.

LATERAL TRANSPORT ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HEADER

A header for an agricultural vehicle including a frame having lateral ends and a transport assembly connected to the frame and configured for being positioned in a transport position and a storage position. The transport assembly includes a tandem axle support device including at least one pivot shaft pivotally connected to the frame, a first walking beam, and a second walking beam. The first and second walking beams are operably connected to and moveable by the at least one pivot shaft. The transport assembly also includes at least four wheels including a first pair of tandem wheels removably connected to the first walking beam and a second pair of tandem wheels removably connected to the second walking beam.

AGRICULTURAL DISTRIBUTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FOLDING AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRIBUTION DEVICE BETWEEN A WORKING POSITION AND A TRANSPORT POSITION
