An electric machine (101) for use in an aircraft is shown. The electric machine comprises a casing (104) containing electromechanical components, a shaft (106) which extends outside of the casing, a seal (107) to seal the casing around the shaft, and a depressurisation system (102) configured to depressurise the casing below an external pressure to prevent electrical breakdown within gas in the casing.

Aircraft engine assembly with a supply path to an inter-flow compartment tank of turbine engine

An aircraft engine assembly includes a dual-flow turbine engine, a pylon for mounting the turbine engine, thrust-absorbing rods connecting the turbine engine to the pylon, and an inter-flow compartment housing a lubricant tank. In order to facilitate the filling of the tank, a lubricant supply path is fluidly connected to the tank, this path passing through an inner hollow region of at least one of the two thrust-absorbing rods.

A multi-engine system for an aircraft, has: a first engine having a first output shaft, a first core shaft, and a first electric machine drivingly engaged by the first output shaft or the first core shaft; a second engine having a second output shaft, a second core shaft, and a second electric machine drivingly engaged to the second core shaft; a reduction gearbox drivingly engaged by the first output shaft and by the second output shaft for driving a common load; and a transmission path between the first engine and the second engine, the transmission path being independent from the reduction gearbox and being one or more of: a torque-transfer connection between the second core shaft and the first core shaft or the first output shaft via a coupling gearbox, and an electrical connection between the generator and the electric motor to transmit electrical power to the electric motor.

MOTOR CONTROL DEVICE

A motor control device includes: a power source device including a DC-output power conversion device having a first mode for outputting first voltage and a second mode for outputting second voltage higher than the first voltage; a power supply device; and a control device, and controls a motor. When a flying object takes off, the control device controls the power conversion device in the second mode. When the control device judges that flight information which is one or both of information of a motor parameter obtained along with control for the motor and information of an environmental factor relevant to the flight altitude satisfies a predetermined condition, or when the control device has received an operation mode signal for which the first mode is selected on the basis of the flight information during control for the motor, the control device controls the power conversion device in the first mode.
