Aircraft passenger reading light
An aircraft passenger reading light include comprises: a light source arrangement having a plurality of rows of reading light sources, with each of the rows having a plurality of reading light sources for passenger-specific illumination of a plurality of seats of a seating row of an aircraft and with the plurality of rows having different illumination directions in a longitudinal direction (L) of the aircraft, whereinach of the light sources first and second electrical terminals; first and second power supply connectors; and a multi-state switching arrangement having a plurality of switching states. The first power supply connector is coupled to the first electrical terminals of the plurality of reading light sources. The second power supply connector is coupled to the second electrical terminals of the plurality of reading light sources via the multi-state switching arrangement.
Exterior helicopter light
An exterior helicopter light is configured to be mounted to a helicopter, in particular to an underside of the helicopter, the helicopter having a longitudinal axis (A). The exterior helicopter light comprises: a first set of light sources configured for emitting, in operation, light of a first color into a at least one rear sector of a ground below the helicopter, the at least one rear sector spatially extending around a projection of a rear portion of the helicopter onto the ground; and second set of light sources configured for emitting, in operation, light of a second color, which differs from the first color, into at least two forward sectors of the ground below the helicopter.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT EMITTING DISINFECTING DEVICE
Systems and methods are provided for disinfecting. One embodiment includes a disinfecting device. The disinfecting device includes a housing having an attachment surface and an illumination surface that are opposed along an axis, and a plurality of adjustable ultraviolet (UV) emitters disposed at the housing that have fields of illumination that are adjustable along multiple axes via rotational couplings to illuminate an enclosed space that the illumination surface faces.
Dead Reckoning Correction Utilizing Patterned Light Projection
Dead reckoning correction utilizing patterned light projection is provided herein. An example method can include navigating a drone along a pattern using dead reckoning, the pattern having a plurality of lines, detecting one of the plurality of lines using an optical sensor of the drone, determining when a line of travel of the drone is not aligned with the one of the plurality of lines, and realigning the line of travel of the drone so as to be aligned with the one of the plurality of lines to compensate for drift that occurs during navigation using dead reckoning.
System and method for providing infrared interior lighting for an airplane video surveillance system
Systems and methods for illuminating an airplane cabin using a light strip comprising a plurality of spectrally-tuned illuminators within a housing are provided. The illuminators include a first visible light illuminator and an infrared illuminator. The light strip is disposed to provide indirect infrared illumination of the cabin via diffuse reflection from a surface of the cabin (wash lighting) from a shrouded location. The illuminators include light emitting diodes (LEDs), and include white and some combination of red, yellow, green, and blue. A controller varies intensities of each illuminator, to emphasize or de-emphasize various colors or infrared illumination throughout an interior of the airplane cabin.
Aircraft emergency lighting system
An aircraft emergency lighting system is disclosed. This emergency lighting system may include interior emergency lighting, interior ambient light sensors, exterior emergency lighting, and exterior ambient light sensors. The interior emergency lighting, the exterior emergency lighting, or both, may be controlled based upon an input of the interior ambient light condition (e.g., using an output from at least one of the interior ambient light sensors) and based upon an input from at least one of the exterior ambient light sensors.
LIGHTING UNITS PRODUCING VISIBLE LIGHT WITH BLENDED DISINFECTING ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
A lighting unit may include a first light-emitting diode (“LED”), a second LED, and a third LED. The first LED may be configured to emit first electromagnetic radiation having a first wavelength of between about 600 nanometers (“nm”) and about 740 nm, the second LED may be configured to emit second electromagnetic radiation having a second wavelength of between about 500 nm and about 565 nm, and the third LED may be configured to emit third electromagnetic radiation having a third wavelength between about 315 nm and about 430 nm. Thus, the third electromagnetic radiation may be disinfecting UV-A radiation that is incorporated into a lighting unit that produces visible light.
Single motor, two axis searchlight system
A single motor, two axis searchlight system includes a shaft, a motor, at least a first plurality of light sources, and a controller. The shaft is mounted for rotation about a rotational axis. The motor is coupled to the shaft and is operable to rotate the shaft about the rotational axis. The first plurality of light sources are coupled to the shaft and are rotatable therewith about the rotational axis. The first plurality of light sources are disposed along a first plane that is disposed at a first angle relative to the rotational axis. The controller is in operable communication with the motor and the first plurality of light sources. The controller configured to: selectively energize the motor to thereby cause the first plurality of light sources to rotate about the rotational axis, and selectively energize one or more of the first plurality of light sources.
Passenger Compartment Air Vent Filter
The present invention relates generally to a passenger compartment air vent filtering device. More specifically, the invention includes a cover that can be placed over top of an existing air vent in a passenger seating compartment to filter the air flowing therefrom, and comprises both a HEPA filter and a UV light disinfection filter. In a preferred embodiment, the novel air vent filtering device further comprises a moveable element, a plurality of LED lights and a scent diffuser.
LED MODULE FOR FLASHING LAMP AND FLASHING LAMP
The present invention provides an LED module that can prevent breakage of an LED chip due to pulse lighting for a flash when the LED module is used in a flashing lamp. An LED module (10) for flashing lamp includes: an LED substrate (13); plural LEDs (12); and plural resin layers (11). In the LED module (10), the LEDs (12) are mounted on a mounting surface of the LED substrate (13).Each resin layer (11) is stacked on a surface of each LED (12) opposite to the LED substrate (13). Adjacent resin layers (11) stacked on the LEDs (12) are separated from each other.
