The disclosure relates to space science and space transportation, in particular, to the area of commercial exploitation of outer space, and, namely—to the structure of multiple-mission geospatial transportation complex and method of operation thereof, based on the principle of non-rocket ‘planet surface to planned circular orbit’ payload insertion. A general planetary geospatial transportation complex, according to a first variant includes a general planetary vehicle encircling the planet along the line of the planet surface cross-section by the plane parallel to plane of the equator, fastened, on launch overpass of specified altitude, and represents a linear bearing structure encircling the planet, comprising pressure hull with the special endless linear flywheels, equipped with systems of magnetic and/or electromagnetic suspension and linear electromagnetic drives. For a general planetary geospatial transportation complex, it is distinctive that the present intended use is to solve the set of geospatial problems in industrial-scale volumes, for instance, for the purpose of relocation of ecologically harmful portion of earth-based manufacturing into near space and non-rocket space industrialization, as well as stabilization of the global climate.

Compressed Natural Gas Vehicle Safety System and Method
20170233243 · 2017-08-17 ·

A multiply-redundant system that protects fueling of rockets, aircraft and other vehicles using Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) along with an oxidizer such as Liquefied Oxygen. One or more sensors in combination with one or more optional microswitches combine to detect any leaks, fire or explosion hazards quickly locking out further fueling. For different levels of safety, different combinations of sensors can be used.

DEVICE AND LOCKING OF A FUELING DEVICE

The invention relates to the field of feeding devices, in particular for feeding rockets on the ground. A feeding device (4) of the invention comprises at least two mutually complementary feeding connectors (5, 6), a breakable connection member (15) connecting these two feeding connectors (5, 6) together and presenting a breakable section (15c) between these two feeding connectors (5, 6), and a force transmission member (16) connected to said breakable section (15c) in such a manner as to transmit a breaking load thereto in order to unlock the connection between the two feeding connectors (5, 6). During unlocking, a breaking load transmitted by the force transmission member (16) thus serves to break the breakable section (15c).

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR LAUNCHING SPACE VEHICLES USING MAGNETIC LEVITATION, LINEAR ACCELERATION THERMAL ENERGY SCAVENGING, AND WATER STEAM ROCKETS
20220227502 · 2022-07-21 ·

In broad embodiment, the present invention is a collection of systems, methods, and devices that describe a magnetic levitation linear accelerator driven hypersonic sled, magnetically coupled to a reusable Space Plane Launch Vehicle, which are accelerated to hypersonic speeds at sea-level altitude, thereby generating a hypersonic thermal shockwave of substantial energy which is then scavenged by methods and devices within the Space Plane Launch Vehicle, allowing it convert a distilled liquid water steam fuel payload, on a controlled basis, into supercritical steam exhaust and then use this supercritical steam exhaust for thrust continuing acceleration, using only electricity and distilled water as consumables and leaving only water vapor as a direct exhaust.

SYSTEM FOR EXTRACTING WATER FROM LUNAR REGOLITH AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
20210404338 · 2021-12-30 ·

The system extracts water from lunar regolith and includes a regolith intake having a digging bucket that collects lunar regolith soil and a gravel separator that separates and discharges gravel and passes a mixture of ice-regolith powder having ice grains that are about 10-100 microns along the conveyor. A pneumatic separator receives the ice-regolith powder and pneumatically splits the ice-regolith powder into streams of different sized lithic fragments and ice particles per the ratio of inertial force and aerodynamic drag force of the lithic fragments and ice particles. Each split stream may include a magnetic separator that separates further the magnetic and paramagnetic lithic fragments from ice particles to discharge up to 80 percent of lithic fragments to slag.
