MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR TEA BAG FOLDING STRUCTURE
The invention discloses a manufacturing method for a tea bag folding structure comprising: a fold-to-overlap step and a press-to-fold step. The fold-to-overlap step is to overlap a sheet having a plurality of folding lines and join two opposite side edges thereof, and the press-to-fold step is to open the sheet into a hollow cylinder shape and fold the sheet into a cylindrical folding structure with openings at both ends along the plurality of folding lines. In the manufacturing method, after the tea bag folding structure is formed, one end opening of the tea bag folding structure is closed, the tea bag folding structure is filled with tea leaves, and the other end opening of the tea bag folding structure is closed.
Method for producing packaging by means of a packing machine
A method for producing packaging, in particular tubular bags, by means of a packaging machine (1) having a PLC control (20). The packaging machine (1) includes several electronic drive units (3, 6) capable of being controlled independently of each other by the PLC control (20) and which can drive the different functional elements (8) of the packaging machine (1) in a manner synchronous to a clock cycle when trailing predefined movement trajectories, and several setting parameters of the production process, in particular the number of objects to be packed per time unit, the packaging dimensions, the sealing times, being predefined, the capturing of the setting parameters at the PLC control (20), which controls the drive units (3, 6) of the packaging machine (1), being followed by the transfer of the setting parameters from the PLC control (20) to a PC control (23).
High speed poucher
An apparatus and methods for producing at extremely high production speeds small pouches filled with tobacco or other granular, powdered or solid content. An endless web substrate, with or without flavor film thereon, is formed into a tubular shape with a longitudinal seam. The tube is cut to individual lengths, and a procession of tubes is crimp-closed at one end, filled and crimp-closed at the other end to complete pouch production. During production, the seams formed at the crimped ends of the pouch are parallel to one another and the longitudinal seam of the pouch is midway between the sides of the pouch and orthogonal to the seams formed at the crimped ends of the pouch.
Non-destructive measurement unit of the gas concentration in sealed flexible containers and automatic filling and/or packaging line using such a unit
A non-destructive measurement unit of gas concentration in sealed containers and an automatic filling and/or packaging line using such a unit are provided. The flexible containers are at least partially optically transparent, and the measurement unit comprises a light source for emitting a light beam at a wavelength tunable with an absorption wavelength of a gas contained in the sealed flexible container. The light source directs the light beam toward at least one inspection area, and a detector detects at least a portion of the beam after the beam passes through the inspection area and outputs data representative of an absorption spectrum of the gas. Means for generating a head space of predefined width into the sealed flexible container is adapted to advance the sealed flexible container by an advancement path which crosses the inspection zone and to maintain the predefined width of the head space during the advancement.

Snap Container for Pre-Portioned Product and Related Methods
A container for packaging a pre-portioned amount of liquid or dry product is provided that includes a one-piece outer casing defining an interior reservoir. The outer casing has a cylindrical shell that is closed at one end by a rounded tip and open at the opposing end with an open circular outer edge/rim defining a mouth. To fill the container, the product is introduced through the mouth into the interior reservoir; then opposing edges of the rim are compressed together and sealed with heat to create an elongated seal having two opposing ends. Multiple types of elongated seals are provided. In one aspect the outer casing is formed unitarily of a plastic resin. To open the container, the consumer squeezes the two opposing seal ends/termini toward each other; this deforms the elongated seal and causes the seal to snap open, which allows access to the product.
POLYMER COATED PAPERBOARD CONTAINER AND METHOD
A method of forming a coating on a cylindrical paperboard container having a closed end. The method includes the steps of heating a gas from a first temperature to a second temperature; providing the gas to a first inlet of a nozzle; providing a polymer in a liquid state at a third temperature; providing the polymer to a second inlet of the nozzle; and spraying the polymer onto the cylindrical paperboard container using the nozzle; wherein the second temperature is greater than the third temperature; and the second temperature and third temperature are such that the gas maintains the polymer in the liquid state at least until the polymer comes into contact with the cylindrical paperboard container. A system for applying a coating to a plurality of cylindrical paperboard containers and a container for a consumer product are also provided.
