Filler neck assembly and a liquid tank equipped with such a filler neck assembly
A filler neck assembly includes a supporting part designed to be fixed at the inlet of a liquid tank positioned on a motor vehicle and said supporting part having a central through hole mainly formed about a central axis. The filler neck assembly also includes a tubular part that is positioned in said central through hole and said tubular part having a longitudinal axis. The filler neck assembly further includes a first abutment area and a second abutment area attached to one part which is selected between the supporting part and the tubular part, and a contacting area attached to the other part which is selected between the tubular part and the supporting part such that said contacting area can cooperate with one or other of the first and second abutment areas. The first and second abutment areas and the contacting area are arranged so that the cooperation of the contacting area with the first abutment area defines a first angular position of the tubular part with respect to said supporting part and the cooperation of the contacting area with the second abutment area defines a second angular position of the tubular part with respect to said supporting part.
PREPARING A DOUBLE CHAMBER CONTAINER
A method of preparing a double chamber container (1) comprises the steps of: filling a substance in the interior of the double chamber container (1), freeze-drying the substance inside the double chamber container(1), inserting a middle plunger (81) in the interior of the double chamber container (1) such that a distal chamber and a proximal chamber are formed, wherein the middle plunger (81) seals the distal chamber from the proximal chamber and wherein the freeze-dried substance is inside the distal chamber, filling a reconstitution medium in the proximal chamber of the double chamber container (1), and sealing a distal opening (14) of the double chamber container (1) and a proximal opening (13) of the double chamber container (1). The method particularly also comprises the steps of providing a holder (2) having a seat (21) designed to receive the double chamber container (1) in an upright position and arranging the double chamber container (1) in the seat (21) of the holder (2) such that, in the upright position, a distal end side (12) of the double chamber container (1) extends downwardly and a proximal end side (13) of the double chamber container (1) extends upwardly. Thereby, the double chamber container (1) is arranged in the seat (21) of the holder (2) while the substance is filled in the interior of the double chamber container (1), while the substance is freeze-dried inside the double chamber container (1), while the middle plunger (81) is inserted in the interior of the double chamber container (1), while the reconstitution medium is filled in the proximal chamber of the double chamber container (1), and while the proximal opening (13) of the double chamber container (1) is sealed.
Device for cyclic spreading of tray sealing film in sealing machines
A device for spreading the tray sealing film in so-called tray sealers, in order to avoid the formation of folds in said film which, with the trays, is inserted in a sealing and cutting station, between a pair of opposing bells provided with a relative reciprocal approaching and distancing movement, where downstream of said station means are provided to subject the off-cut of film which exits to a transversal stretching action which ensures correct spreading of said film between said bells, characterized by comprising means for braking the film upstream of said station and comprising pincer means with a jaw mounted on the side of the upper bell from which the film exits, turned downwards and vertically opposing a corresponding jaw mounted on the lower bell, all being envisaged to ensure that in the reciprocal approach and closure step of the two bells, before the film is gripped and blocked between them, longitudinal and lateral portions of the film which are close to the bells are pincered between said opposing pairs of jaws of said pincers, which firmly grip the film, also due to the presence of counter springs and friction sliding blocks and which, due to an inclines and divergent position of them with respect to the direction of advance of the film, subject said film to transversal or preferably transversal and longitudinal stretching, in the same direction of advance indicated above, to spread the film between the bells before their closure on said film.
CLOSING A CHAMBER OF A CONTAINER FOR A PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A device (1) for closing a chamber of a container having an opening for accessing the chamber comprises a plunger, a plunger seat (11), a container carrier (13) and a spacer (12). The plunger seat (11) releasably holds the plunger in a predefined alignment. The container carrier (13) is arranged to be connected to the container in a predefined position and alignment in relation to the opening of the container. The spacer (12) is arranged to position and align the plunger seat (11) adjacent to and distant from the container carrier (13) such that the opening of the container is open when the container is connected to the container carrier (13).
INJECTION PREPARATION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided are an injection preparation which include: an aqueous composition containing pemetrexed or a salt thereof, at least one antioxidant agent which is selected from the group consisting of ascorbic acid, an ascorbic acid derivative, and salts thereof, and the content of which is 0.0001 mass % to 0.5 mass % with respect to the total mass of the aqueous composition in terms of ascorbic acid, and an aqueous solvent of greater than or equal to 50 mass % with respect to the total mass of the aqueous composition; and a container which encloses the aqueous composition, in which the concentration of oxygen in gas within the container which encloses the aqueous composition is less than or equal to 0.2 volume %, and a method for producing the injection preparation.
MACHINE AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING INTRAVENOUS MEDICAMENTS
A machine for preparing intravenous medicaments including an enclosing structure having a plurality of lateral walls arranged to define a closed internal working environment. An access station affords selective access to the closed internal working environment. One lateral wall is an equipped wall on which there are defined a plurality of stations for objects used in the preparation of intravenous medicaments. The stations on the equipped wall include temporary receiving or parking stations for the objects and operating stations for carrying out operations on the objects. A handling robot is programmed to transfer the objects from any station to any other station. The machine includes a metering module with one or more container support groups, a syringe support/metering member group, and a weighing group for weighing objects used in the preparation of intravenous medicaments.
METHOD OF FILLING A CONTAINER WITH NO HEADSPACE
The present invention is directed to methods for filling a container wherein the filled container has no headspace. The present invention is further directed to methods for stabilizing an aqueous drug substance solution by filling a container with the aqueous drug substance solution wherein the filled container has no headspace. Filling and closing device, and method for filling and closing an applicator for active substances
The invention relates to a filling and closing device (20) for an applicator for active substances (1) and to a method for filling and closing such an applicator for active substances (1) by means of such a filling and closing device (20). The applicator for active substances (1) comprises an applicator tube (7) that overlaps the sealing edge (5), at least in part. The filling and closing device (20) comprises a receiving element (21) for the lower part (2) of the applicator for active substances (1), having a circumferential pressure surface (22) and a receiving channel (23) for the applicator tube (7), said receiving channel extending below the pressure surface (22). The receiving element (21) is constructed of at least two parts, having a base element (24) and a cover element (25) that is movable with respect to the base element (24). After completion of the filling and sealing process, the cover element (25) is moved relative to the base element (24), such that the receiving channel (23) formed therebetween is exposed. The filled and sealed applicator for active substances (1) can then be easily removed from the receiving element (21) by way of the applicator tube (7).
Apparatus and method for filling containers
A filling apparatus for filling containers, and a method of operation, are disclosed, whereby a plurality of container carriers are movable along an upper container guideway of the apparatus. Notably, a pair of servo drives in the form of linear actuators act generally in opposition to each other, at opposites ends to the container carriers movable along the container guideway, to accurately index and position the container carriers with respect to associated filling equipment. Servo-driven transfer wheels, positioned at respective opposite ends of the upper container guideway, effect movement of the containers to and from a return conveyor positioned beneath the upper container guideway, whereby the container carriers are moved from the downstream end of the filling region back to the upstream end thereof.
