Automated retail supply chain and inventory management system
A system and method are disclosed for supplying one or more goods to a physical store location. The goods may be received at a distribution center (DC). At the DC, the goods may be decanted from their shipping containers into one or more sub-totes, which are contained within one or more product totes. The sub-totes may be transferred from the one or more product totes to one or more order totes based on a velocity of movement of the plurality of goods at the physical store location.

VARIABLE FRICTION CHUTE
A product distribution system including a chute and a controller. The chute includes a variable friction angled surface configured to receive a product and/or slidably transport the product along the angled surface. The controller is operatively coupled with the chute. The controller is configured to vary an amount of friction at the angled surface based on information about the product.
Clean room food processing systems and structures
Some food pathogens are not well controlled by lethality treatments followed by refrigeration. A food processing facility according to this invention reduces the likelihood that food pathogens will be able to enter the food processing facility, or spread should they be able to enter. The food processing facility is divided into a plurality of area, with different areas having different allowed actions that can be taken on the food product, different rules and/or procedures for persons who are allowed entry, and/or different levels of cleanliness. The food processing facility includes a plurality of separate rooms for processing the food product, each including separate food processing machines, air handling systems, drain systems and/or often-used supplies and tools. Different air pressures within different areas limit the possible movement of airborne food pathogens. Sanitizing stations are placed between various ones of the different areas.

Method of storing and transporting strips of adhesive material
A plurality of strips of tape, attached to a single release liner and separated from the adjacent strip of material by a perforated area, i.e. perforated slits separate each strip of adhesive material and separate the base layers into sections. These perforations allow for the base layer featuring the strips of adhesive material to be folded such that the strips of adhesive material are aligned and for easy separation of the different sections of base layer featuring the strips of adhesive material. This configuration allows a single release liner, featuring a plurality of strips of adhesive material to be divided into separate release liners each featuring less than all the strips of adhesive material attached to same. The release liner can be folded along the perforations and packaged into a wrapper featuring a hanging hole making the finished product convenient to display.
Travel device
A novel travel device and method of storing items are disclosed. The travel device may comprise a top shell joined to a bottom shell to form a container. A sleeve may be removably attached to the top and bottom shells but is preferably fixed to the interior of the container. The sleeve acts a second container for holding items such as dirty clothes. Clean clothes may be placed in the remaining portion of the interior of the first container thereby keeping the dirty clothes separate from the clean ones. The top shell, bottom shell, and sleeve are preferably made of fabric. The sleeve may be made of impermeable material and may include a sealable hole to store wet or particularly odorous items. The travel device advantageously is capable of storing both clean and dirty clothes at the same time while also functioning as a comfortable pillow.
Personal care compositions and hangers
A method of selecting a hanger to be packaged with a personal care composition with perfume and/or water, can include selecting a hanger with a modulus at 100% strain of 30 to 700 gf/mm2 when measured in accordance with the Modulus Test.
