Timing screw cutoff system
A system for packaging containers within a flexible container carrier includes a generally continuous string of container carriers arranged with divisible weakened connections between adjacent individual container carriers that is fed through an applicating machine for applying the container carriers to individual containers. A cut-off device is arranged downstream of the applicating machine to selectively accelerate or decelerate the containers to separate the generally continuous string into individual container carriers.

METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING MATTRESSES AND SHIPPING CONTAINER HOLDING AN ASSEMBLY OF STACKED MATTRESSES
An assembly of stacked mattresses and a method for preparing such an assembly are provided. The assembly of stacked mattresses comprises a first pallet, a second pallet, a plurality of mattresses positioned between the first pallet and the second pallet and straps coupling the first pallet to the second pallet, the plurality of mattresses being in a compressed state between the first pallet and the second pallet and the straps restraining expansion of the plurality of mattresses. The second pallet is comprised of a supporting member and a plurality of elongated reinforcing members extending across the supporting member, at least some of the reinforcing members including respective strap guiding members extending longitudinally along the elongated reinforcing member. At least some of the straps engage respective ones of the strap guiding members of the plurality of elongated reinforcing member of the second pallet so that displacement of the straps is constrained by the strap guiding members. In accordance with another aspect, a pallet for using in shipping bedding products is provided.

Apparatus and assembly for routing single length of flexible ribbon around package in crossed configuration, with apparatuses for securing and cutting ribbon
A ribbon routing assembly for routing a single length of ribbon around and securing the ribbon to an object. The ribbon has a first end and a second end. The ribbon routing assembly includes a body with a void. The body includes a first leg configured for securing to the first end of the ribbon and a second leg configured for securing to the second end of the ribbon. The void includes a routing edge that defines a first acute angle relative to the first leg and a second acute angle relative to the second leg. The first and second acute angles are approximately forty-five degrees. The body has a first surface and a second surface that define a thickness therebetween, the first leg defines a first length and the second leg defines a second length. A lid is configured for mounting to the body in a mounted configuration.
