A device adapted to seal a paper overwrap around a package includes a stationary support frame, a conveyor mounted to the support frame, and an adhesive application device mounted to the stationary support frame. The conveyor is configured to transport the package wrapped in the paper overwrap in a conveyor direction through the support frame. The adhesive application device is configured to tension the paper overwrap, while opening the seam so that an adhesive may be applied to the bottom of the package and the seam sealed together.

A device adapted to seal a paper overwrap around a package includes a stationary support frame, a conveyor mounted to the support frame, and an adhesive application device mounted to the stationary support frame. The conveyor is configured to transport the package wrapped in the paper overwrap in a conveyor direction through the support frame. A packaging module includes a first cover portion, a first foldable portion, a first adhesive device, and a second cover portion. The first cover portion is used for carrying a product, and the first foldable portion is foldably connected to one side of the first cover portion. The first foldable portion includes a first surface and a second surface back to the first surface. The first adhesive device adheres to the second surface of the first foldable portion. The second cover portion is foldably connected to another side of the first cover portion, and the second cover portion further includes a pulling handle to facilitate taking out of the product. In addition, a package fixture is also disclosed herein to help package the product into the packaging module.

A bale wrapping mechanism has a roll holding station and a duckbill provided for clamping one end of the roll of wrapping material, said duckbill being pivotally mounted, via at least a first hinge, to the baling chamber sidewalls, for delivering said wrapping material to said baling chamber by insertion of said duckbill between adjacent rolls of said baling chamber, wherein the wrapping mechanism further has at least a first guiding roll for guiding the wrapping material between said roll holding station and said duckbill, wherein said first guiding roll axis substantially coincides with the first hinge axis.

A bale wrapping mechanism has a roll holding station and a duckbill provided for clamping one end of the roll of wrapping material, said duckbill being pivotally mounted, via at least a first hinge, to the baling chamber sidewalls, for delivering said wrapping material to said baling chamber by insertion of said duckbill between adjacent rolls of said baling chamber, wherein the wrapping mechanism further has at least a first guiding roll for guiding the wrapping material between said roll holding station and said duckbill, wherein said first guiding roll axis substantially coincides with the first hinge axis.

A method and apparatus for formation, filling, and sealing unit dose packages for consumer products are described herein. A filling system with a filling control system is also disclosed. Although the filling system is described in conjunction with a method for forming, filling, and sealing unit dose packages, the filling system and filling control system can be used in other dispensing processes.

A packaging machine is described comprising: support means for at least two reels of wrapping material in plastic film, film opening means for wrapping a product to be packaged, a support, fixed or mobile, on which the product to be packaged is placed, sealing means of the film configured to seal two edges of the film and cutting means for the film so as to create a package for the product starting from a reel of single-folded material, wherein the film opening means comprise a film opening plate, arranged between the reel and the welding and/or cutting means, comprising at least two surfaces connected to each other at a first end located near the reel and spaced in the film unwinding direction to create the package, facing an operator so as to move the two edges away in the direction of the operator, enabling the creation of the packaging.
