Thermo-forming packaging machine
The thermo-forming packaging machine according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a sealing station, a first forming station for forming trays into a lower film web that is in a first forming plane clamped in the first forming station, and a second forming station for forming lids into an upper film web that is in a second forming plane clamped in the second forming station. The sealing station can be configured to create a sealing seam in a sealing plane. The thermo-forming packaging machine may be characterized in that the first forming plane is provided at least 200 mm below the second forming plane, wherein the first and the second forming planes are at least approximately parallel to each other.
MULTI-LAYER WEB AND PROCESS FOR FORMING SCORED LIDDING FILM FOR BLISTER PACKAGES
Multi-layer web and mechanical scoring process for forming lidding film for push through blister packages. The web is configured to resist the tensile forces encountered during manufacturing processes, including slitting, rewinding and heat sealing processes. A simplified web conversion process for creating mechanically scored lidding film for blister packages is provided at reduced investment and operational costs compared to prior art systems.

THERMOFORM PACKAGING MACHINE AND METHOD OF OPERATING A THERMOFORM PACKAGING MACHINE
A thermoform packaging machine comprising, as work stations, a forming station for thermoforming troughs in a packaging film, at least one sealing station for sealing the troughs with a cover film, and a cutting station as well as a feeding device for causing a feed of the packaging film. A method for using such a thermoform packaging machine wherein a controller determines for two or more work stations, prior to a process step, which required feed length each of these work stations has, the required feed length indicating the distance by which the packaging film will have to be conveyed for the next process step of the respective work station, before a feed length specification is ascertained from the required feed lengths determined and the feeding device is controlled accordingly.
Method and device for producing a blister tube, and blister tube
A method for producing a blister tube having multiple blister pouches with information over a large area and optimized for an inspection system, is provided. A packaging material web having cover sections with a transmission of less than 60% in the visible frequency range extending in the longitudinal direction of the packaging material web, a transparent material area with a transmission of greater than 80% in the visible frequency range extending in the longitudinal direction parallel to the cover sections and to multiple data sections is provided to a packaging device. Pouch-specific data are printed onto a data section and a sub-section of the packaging material web is shaped into a receiving area. A cover section and the printed data section are assigned to each receiving area. Small piece goods are fed to the receiving area and a blister pouch is formed. Devices and blister tubes are also provided.

DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MODULAR VENTED OPENING PACKAGE SEALING
A modular attachment is provided to attach to a packaging machine for forming a vent opening in a packaging film used for packaging an item via a packaging machine, and attaching a semipermeable or permeable vent covering material over the vent opening. The vent opening with the attached vent covering material may allow for sterilization of medical devices, medical equipment or other medical supplies while packaged within the packaging film. The modular attachment may include features for forming the vent opening in the packaging film during delivery of the packaging film for use in the packaging process, delivering the covering material to the location of the vent opening, cutting the covering material to size for covering the vent opening, and attaching the vent covering material to the packaging film so as to cover the vent opening.
Packaging machine with a protective device and method
The present invention refers to a packaging machine and a method, wherein one embodiment of a protective device comprises a protective hood and the protective hood is lifted around a shaft comprising two rolls, and is shifted by means of guides in the protective hood on the rolls.
