Method and device for making tubular bags of thin plastic films by means of an ultrasound welding process
A method and a device are disclosed for making thin plastic films having two or more layers, which are subdivided and separated in the form of tubular bags for portioned reception of different products, wherein the plastic films are provided with welding seams running substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction with predetermined spacing between one another to form bag-like containers, and the containers are separated from one another by a cutting or separating process, the method being characterized by the steps: a) welding the films with predetermined spacing by means of an ultrasound welding process, maintaining a defined, film-dependent distance between a processing tool and a counter tool while welding; and b) separating the tubular bags welded in this way by means of a mechanical cutting process, with or without reduced ultrasound excitation at the point of the respective weld seams.
SUPPORT FOR PACKAGING CONTAINER
A method is described of filling and/or sealing a packaging container (10) comprising a packaging laminate and having a top portion (16) and a lower portion (14) including one or more side walls (69) and an open base, the method comprising: —supporting the packaging container (10) with open base uppermost on a support (42) comprising an upstanding portion (50), wherein the support (42) engages the top portion (16) of the packaging container (10) and engages part of the one or more side walls (69) of the packaging container (10) via the upstanding portion (50) of the support (42); and —filling the packaging container (10) via its open base and/or sealing the open base of the packaging container (10), wherein the support (42) ensures dimensional stability of the packaging container (10) during the filling and/or sealing step. A related apparatus, support and packaging container are also described.
PACKET FOR PRODUCTS IN THE CIGARETTE INDUSTRY, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A packet for cigarette industry products, having a casing which, preferably on all sides, surrounds a group of cigarette industry products as the packet content, wherein the casing is formed from a packaging material, and wherein folding tabs of the packaging material are connected to one another by seams. Preferably all seams are formed by crimping folding tabs of the packaging material that bear on one another in the overlap region of those folding tabs that bear on one another. The invention also relates to corresponding devices and methods for producing such packets.
WRAPPING DEVICE FOR PRODUCT WRAPPERS
A device for wrapping product wrappers including a winder, the winder including a gripper mechanically connected to a tubular shaft rotatable about and translatable along an approach axis, the gripper being rotatable and translatable integrally with the tubular shaft; an actuating rod active on the gripper and movable along an actuating axis, the actuating rod being movable along the actuating axis with respect to the tubular shaft and rotationally constrained to the tubular shaft, wherein the gripper is rotatable and movable following a translation of the actuating rod along the actuating axis; a first electric motor active on the actuating rod to translate the actuating rod along the actuating axis; and a second electric motor active on the tubular shaft to translate the tubular shaft along the approach axis. The device further includes a control unit configured to drive the first electric motor and the second electric motor.
