METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STERILELY ENCLOSING A CONTAINER
Sterilely enclosing a container by means of at least two caps by: gripping a first region of a container provided with a first cap in a first region by means of first tongs, by gripping and clamping the first cap; and sliding a second cap onto a second region of the container in such a way that one or more of: the second cap abuts the first cap, the second cap slips over the first cap, or the second cap is slipped over by the first cap; or the first cap and the second cap are connected by means of complementary screw threads, protrusions, cut-outs, or engagement elements; or a connection that provides sterile sealing-off from the outside of the first and second caps can be formed between the first and second caps, leaving a bridgeable distance between the first and second caps.

INFLATABLE PACKAGING VESSEL FOR FRAGILE ARTICLES
An inflatable packaging for storing multiple glass bottles made from a sheet that has a longitudinal axis and a traverse axis. The sheet is folded along six or more traverse fold lines spaced from each other to form a row of two or more pouches. The inflatable packaging can have two or more of such rows separated by a line of weakness. Each pouch has a front wall, a rear wall, a base, and an open-top for storing the glass bottle. Two adjacent pouches are separated by a dividing panel, wherein the dividing panel is corrugated in a biconcave shape.
Systems and methods for local dimming in multi-modulation displays
Dual and multi-modulator projector display systems and techniques are disclosed. In one embodiment, a projector display system comprises a light source; a controller, a first modulator, receiving light from the light source and rendering a halftone image of said the input image; a blurring optical system that blurs said halftone image with a Point Spread Function (PSF); and a second modulator receiving the blurred halftone image and rendering a pulse width modulated image which may be projected to form the desired screen image. Systems and techniques for forming a binary halftone image from input image, correcting for misalignment between the first and second modulators and calibrating the projector system—e.g. over time—for continuous image improvement are also disclosed.

Bag-making and packaging machine
A bag-making and packaging machine packages, in bags made from a film, articles discharged and dropped from an article discharge apparatus. The bag-making and packaging machine has a transverse sealing mechanism, a receiving member, a vertical moving mechanism, and a control unit. The transverse sealing mechanism transversely seals a film tube. The receiving member contacts an outer surface of the film tube above the transverse sealing mechanism and receives the articles A that drop through the inside of the film tube. The vertical moving mechanism moves the transverse sealing mechanism and the receiving member in the up and down direction. The control unit switches between a first mode and a second mode. In the second mode, the receiving member contacts the outer surface of the film tube at a lower height position than in the first mode.
Methods for disrupting biofilms
Provided are methods for disrupting biofilms and/or preventing the formation of biofilms. Further provided are random-sequence peptide mixtures for use in disrupting bacterial biofilms. The random-sequence peptides include hydrophobic and/or cationic amino acids, and the ratio of the total hydrophobic and cationic amino acids in the mixture is predefined.

Sealing and guiding system for a packaging machine
The invention relates to a sealing and guiding system for a packaging machine having a processing zone and an activation zone adjacent each other. The system has a separating wall, for separating the processing zone from the activation zone; at least a movement actuating element, which develops from the activation zone to the processing zone, crossing the separating wall and that has a longitudinal developing axis; movement actuating means, arranged in the activation zone, for moving the movement actuating element at least along a first direction transverse to the respective axis.
Integrated banana packing, transportation, and commercialization system
A packaging and container system addresses the different needs for packaging bananas, transporting the bananas, and displaying the bananas for sale, all in the same container. The system uses a box or box frame, and at least one perimeter wall that is an independent piece. A film (e.g. plastic sheet) is used to suspend the bananas inside the box during transport to prevent or reduce friction or rubbing between bananas and between the bananas and the sides of the container. Once packed, the box can rotated to its transport position where the bananas are suspended within the film inside the container. Once at the retail location, the container can again be laid on a side and a perimeter wall removed to expose and display the bananas.
