PROTECTION OF OXYGEN SENSITIVE COMPOUNDS
Provided is a packaging system for an oxygen-sensitive compound (a drug, such as DHE, or an excipient such as exametazime), the system including a container, a self-activated oxygen scavenger (including an iron-based or non-iron based) and an oxygen-impermeable enclosure (e.g., an aluminum pouch). Also provided is a method of producing an oxygen-sensitive compound.
Method and apparatus for manufacturing, filling and packaging medical devices and medical containers
Medical devices such as medical containers can be formed of glass and annealed which produces a clean device having a low bio-burden, or formed by plastic molding which produces a clean device. The clean devices are immediately transferred to a controlled environment such as a clean room or localized area to avoid the need to maintain cleanliness levels in an entire room. Syringe tip closures can be introduced into the housing assembly, where syringe barrels and tip closures are cleaned with filtered ionized air and the tip closures are coupled to the barrels. The syringe barrels can be filled with a substance and a closure member attached. While still in the housing assembly the syringe barrels can be formed into an array and placed in a clean outer container, which is then closed and sealed.

A solid dosage preparation is provided with a bottle of water. The solid dosage preparation is contained in a safe and sanitary blister package and attached by means of a shrink band to the closure of the bottle. The shrink band provides a tamper-indicating seal for the both the bottle and blister contents. An advantage of the design is that it does not require customization of bottle and closure tooling, and thereby provides a simple and cost-effective means for combining solid and liquid materials in a unitary package. An additional advantage is the robustness of the tamper-indicating system and methodology.

A solid dosage preparation is provided with a bottle of water. The solid dosage preparation is contained in a safe and sanitary blister package and attached by means of a shrink band to the closure of the bottle. FOOD PRESERVATION WITH SILVER-BIOMASS
A food preservation system can include a gas (e.g., oxygen) permeable package having at least one oxygen permeable member defining a package chamber therein, and a silverized biomass in the package chamber of the oxygen permeable package. Another food preservation system can include a container having an internal chamber, and an oxygen permeable divider located in the internal chamber so as to divide the internal chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber can being configured for receiving food therein, and a silverized biomass is located in the second chamber. A method of preserving food can include retaining a food in a container that includes silverized biomass such that the food does not contact the silverized biomass. The silverized biomass can have a combination of silver and biomass.
System and method for bag delivery
Delivering bags, for example, for delivering items and products purchased bye-commerce in so-called “grocery” tote bags to the respective purchasing customers is described. In one embodiment, a system includes a box and a plurality of bag protectors, each made of material having sufficient rigidity to protect a bag contained therein. In one embodiment, the bag protector has a bottom panel configured to support a bottom of the bag, and two side panels that are configured to extend from two opposing edges of the boom panel away from the bottom panel to form a generally tapering profile so as to meet each other adjacent an opening portion of the bag. The box is configured to receive a plurality of bag protectors, each protectively containing a bag therein. For example, given the generally tapering profile of the bag protectors, they may be placed alternately facing opposite directions in the box.

The acid improves the stability of the composition and the solvent enhances the solubility of the acid, thereby allowing the acid to have an improved stabilizing effect on the highly pure cannabinoid. Preferably, the solvent is an alcohol and, more preferably, the composition contains an oil. A method for making the composition includes combining the cannabinoid and the solvent and evaporating a portion of the solvent, along with adding an acid to the composition, before, during, or after the evaporating step. A method for making and storing the composition includes storing the composition in a manner adapted to maintain its stability. Pharmaceutical dosage forms include a formulated composition, such as having the oil. A method of treating a subject comprises administering to the subject the dosage form.
