INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR REPACKAGING DIFFERENT MEDICINES FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE ORIGINAL BLISTER PACKS INTO ORGANISER BLISTER PACKS
20170253353 · 2017-09-07 ·

The invention relates to an installation and a method for repackaging different medicines from their respective original blister packs into organiser blister packs, in particular weekly blister packs for an individual patient having receiving compartments arranged in a matrix configuration with rows corresponding to a number of times medicines are to be taken over the course of a day and columns corresponding to a number of days, for example days of the week. The installation proposed by the invention has a conveying device for singulating and conveying filled original blister packs, an intermediate storage facility with random access for intermediate storage of the original blister packs packed in blister pack supports of standard external dimensions assigned to a respective original blister pack type, and an ejection device for ejecting a defined number of units of a selected medicine from the respective original blister pack into the organiser blister pack.

PAPER SHEET HANDLING APPARATUS
20170256112 · 2017-09-07 ·

A paper sheet handling apparatus (banknote handling apparatus 100) includes: a housing 12; a transport path forming member 711 disposed inside the housing and configured to form a transport path that transports paper sheets while sandwiching each paper sheet in a direction of the thickness of the paper sheet; and a handing unit (non-bundling stacker module 54) disposed at a predetermined position inside the housing. When jamming of paper sheets occurs in the middle of the transport path, the transport path forming member is displaced so as to open the transport path, in a state where the inside of the housing is opened by an opening and closing unit being opened. The handling unit disposed adjacent to the transport path is movable from the predetermined position so as to form a space that allows the transport path forming member to be displaced.

METHOD AND SYSTEM OF FAULT PREDICTION IN A PACKAGING MACHINE

A method and system of fault prediction in a packaging machine is disclosed. The method comprises registering data values associated with the motion of independently movable objects along a track in the packaging machine; determining a distribution of the data values; calculating a measure of central tendency of the data values in the distribution; calculating a quantified measure of a shape of the distribution; associating the measure of central tendency with said quantified measure of the shape as a coupled set of condition parameters; determining a degree of dispersion of a plurality of coupled sets of condition parameters associated with a plurality of motion cycles of the independently movable objects; and comparing the degree of dispersion with a dispersion threshold value, or determining a trend of the degree of dispersion over time, for said fault prediction.

WET VACUUM SEALING DEVICE AND VACUUM SEALER
20210403188 · 2021-12-30 ·

A wet vacuum sealing device, includes a vacuum chamber provided with a vacuum joint, a vacuum pump connected to the vacuum joint, a solenoid valve with outlets respectively connected to the vacuum joint and the vacuum pump, and an inlet connected to an outside to allow air exchange, a heat sealing module arranged on a side of the vacuum chamber, and a control module electrically connected to the vacuum pump, the solenoid valve, and the heat sealing module. When the vacuum pump vacuums the vacuum chamber for a predetermined period of time, the solenoid valve switches states to make an air pressure inside the vacuum chamber close to an atmospheric pressure of the outside.

Size reduction of mailers

A system includes a forming funnel, a cutting element, and a fusing device. The forming funnel has divergent surfaces arranged to receive a mailer in an insertion direction between the divergent surfaces. The forming funnel includes a slot that constrains the mailer after the mailer is inserted between the divergent surfaces. The cutting element cuts off a portion of the mailer and to forms a cut end of the mailer as the mailer is moved through the slot in a sliding direction. The fusing device applies pressure to an exterior of the cut end of the mailer and applies heat to the cut end of the mailer as the mailer is moved through the slot. The pressure and the heat applied by the fusing device cause portions of the cut end to fuse together to close the mailer.

Method for determining whether a sealing area of a primary packaging container for an ophthalmic lens is unacceptable for properly sealing a foil thereto

A method for determining whether a sealing area of a primary packaging container for an ophthalmic lens is unacceptable for properly sealing a foil to the sealing area is disclosed. The method involves comparing the temperature of an infrared image of the sealing area to a reference temperature to determine if the difference in temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold.
