A method for testing a tubular bag machine, the tubular bag machine having multiple electronic drive units controlled independently by a drive control system for driving functional elements of the packing machine in a cycle time-synchronous manner during predefined motion sequences, one drive unit being a transverse sealing unit comprising a motor and two transverse sealing jaws for transversely sealing a film tube, the drive torque being measured using a drive controller, and the position of the drive motor measured using a position sensor, by removing the film tube from the sealing zone between the transverse sealing jaws, closing the jaws according to a predefined target torque stored in the drive control system; measuring the actual position of the drive motor at the target torque; and comparing the measured actual position to a target position stored in the drive control system and associated with the predefined target torque.

The set of container operation stations includes a storage station where pharmaceutical containers are stored; a first identification station where pharmaceutical containers are each identified; a labeling station where a label is applied to pharmaceutical containers; a second identification station where pharmaceutical containers are each identified after the label is applied; and an outlet station where pharmaceutical containers are moved to after said pharmaceutical containers are identified at the second identification station. First and second container transporters move each pharmaceutical container through the set of container operation stations. Each pharmaceutical container is transferred from the first container transporter to the second container transporter along the set of container operation stations.

A system for discharging product from a bag, the system including: a vibration unit arranged to support the bag and to vibrate so that the product exits an opening of the bag; a conduit having an inlet that is located below the vibration unit to receive the product; a downstream equipment connected to the conduit to receive the product from the conduit; wherein a protective cage is arranged around the inlet of the conduit, the protective cage having an open position to allow access to the inlet, and a closed position to restrict access to the inlet.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGE
A method for producing a package comprising a formed part having at least one product cavity, and a lidding film covering the at least one product cavity, comprises the steps of: (a) defining a seam; (b) dividing the seam into a plurality of sections; (c) determining a pull-off force for pulling the lidding film from the formed part at least for a first section; and (d) sealing the lidding film to the formed part by means of a sealing device, wherein at least one first sealing temperature is selected for the first section based on the pull-off force determined according to step (c).
