Systems and methods for collecting cutting samples during oil and gas drilling operations

A system for automated collection of cutting samples produced during the drilling of a well includes a venturi-effect extractor, which receives a flow of carrier fluid, input fluid containing cuttings in response to suction generated by the flow of the carrier fluid, and output the carrier fluid and the fluid containing the cuttings to a packaging system. The packaging system separates the cuttings from carrier fluid and the fluid containing the cuttings, deposits the cuttings at a corresponding point along a moving elongated strip of base material, covers the elongated strip of base material and the cuttings deposited on the base material with an elongated strip of cover material, and advances the covered elongated strip of base material and covered cuttings onto a reel.

Apparatus for packing products into containers

A method and apparatus for packing products into containers is described herein. More particularly, the method and apparatus are directed to packaging sheets of packages such as pouches or sachets that are joined together end-to-end. The apparatus may include a folding mechanism and a collection receptacle. The method and apparatus may perform one or more steps simultaneously so that the folding and packing of such sheets into containers can be carried out without the flow of incoming sheets being interrupted.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement having an optical machine-readable representation of data, such as a barcode. The oral care implement may include a plurality of protrusions that at least partially define the optical machine-readable representation of data. Specifically, portions of the plurality of protrusions have a color that visually contrasts with a color of a surface that is exposed between the plurality of protrusions. Thus, the protrusions and the exposed surface collectively form the optical machine-readable representation of data. The oral care implement may include a soft tissue cleaner that forms the optical machine-readable representation of data.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REPROCESSING ANIMAL BEDDING

A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of said manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. Said bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, said bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.

Bagging assembly

A bagging assembly for bagging bales of fibrous material is disclosed. The bagging assembly incorporates a chute defining a channel for receiving a bale, which is pushed there between by a stuffing assembly. Aspects of the bagging assembly include raising a bale using a bale elevator to a higher elevation position so that the bale could be stuffed by the stuffing assembly and using a bag retrieving mechanism for retrieving a bag from a bag location for use in bagging the bale.

SYSTEM FOR SIMULTANEOUS DISTRIBUTION OF FLUID TO MULTIPLE VESSELS AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

A method of aseptically distributing fluid to a plurality of vessels includes securing the plurality of vessels relative to a hub and flowing fluid through an input tube into a plenum of the hub such that a substantially equal amount of fluid flows from the plenum into each of the vessels simultaneously. The vessels are positioned in the same plane relative to one another with each vessel having an inflow conduit extending from the hub to the vessel such that an arc segment is formed between the hub and the vessel.
