DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING STRAPS FROM BOXES
A device for removing straps from boxes, such as a strap encircling a box, includes at least one tentacle or gripping device for creating contact to a strap which is to be removed from a box, at least one first guide for guiding the strap away from the tentacle or gripping device, and at least one first guide drive for driving the first guide. A strap to be removed may be cut before or during the time a tentacle or gripping device engages with the strap.
MEDICAL SWAB STORAGE METHOD AND MEDICAL SWAB STORAGE DEVICE
An operation of storing a medical swab in a storing portion of a medical plate can be performed automatically. A medical swab storing method includes: grasping a medical swab having collected a specimen, by using a grasping portion provided in a robot arm; moving grasped medical swab to a position above a predetermined storing portion of a predetermined plate; and storing medical swab in the predetermined storing portion of the predetermined plate. A medical swab storing apparatus includes: a robot arm including a grasping portion; and control means configured to control the robot arm. The robot arm operates so as to move the grasped medical swab to a position above a predetermined storing portion of a predetermined plate and release grasp by the grasping portion above the predetermined storing portion so that the medical swab is stored in the predetermined storing portion, under control of the control means.

Urinary Output Measuring System
Disclosed herein is a urinary output monitoring system. The system can include a urinary output monitoring device having a device body with a front panel and a back panel, and a fluid collection bag attachment configured to be detachably coupled to the front panel and to secure a fluid collection bag. The system can further include a load cell configured to determine a load placed upon the fluid collection bag attachment. The load cell can be in communication with a console. An attachment system can be configured to couple the urinary output monitoring system to a securing surface, for example to the back panel, and can have two or more contact points coupled to one or more rails defining a longitudinal axis, the contact points defining a lateral axis and configured to longitudinally move along the rails.
Food package
A package for products comprises: at least two flexible adjoined layers configured to provide a cavity extending therebetween for containing a product. The at least two flexible adjoined layers are moveable between: a first closed configuration in which the flexible adjoined layers are sealed around the entire periphery thereof to isolate the cavity from an external environment; and a second open configuration in which the flexible adjoined layers extend in a substantially cone shaped configuration, and in which the base of the substantially cone shaped configuration provides an opening extending into the cavity.
Method and apparatus for unpacking semiconductor wafer container
An automated method of unpacking a container containing semiconductor wafers from a sealed bag is provided. The method includes inflating the bag with a gas using an automated gas dispenser. After inflating the bag, the bag is cut using an automated cutting device to expose the container, and the cut bag is removed from around the container.
AUTOMATED REMOVAL OF BINDING TAPES FROM A COIL
Coil has been produced by coiling of a strip. The coil has two end faces and a lateral surface, and also a coil eye having an eye axis. The binding bands have a binding band width. Initially, while a first subregion of the lateral surface of the coil, as seen in the direction of the eye axis, is resting on a first rest, those binding bands which, as seen in the direction of the eye axis, surround the coil completely outside the first subregion are removed. Then, while a second subregion of the coil, as seen in the direction of the eye axis, is resting on the first rest or a second rest, those binding bands which were not removed are removed. The first and the second subregion, as seen in the direction of the eye axis, are spaced apart from one another at least by the binding band width.
FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A feeding device to feed a sheet in a feeding direction includes a mount on which a substantially rectangular parallelepiped sheet pack is mountable; a first cutter to cut, in the feeding direction, a first side surface on one end side in a width direction orthogonal to the feeding direction out of four side surfaces of the sheet pack; a second cutter to cut, in the width direction, a second side surface on a downstream side in the feeding direction out of the four side surfaces; and a third cutter to cut, in the feeding direction, a third side surface on another end side in the width direction out of the four side surfaces. Height positions cut by the first cutter, the second cutter, and the third cutter coincide with each other. Cut portions by the first cutter, the second cutter, and the third cutter are coupled to each other.
Wire management featured integrated into PETG tray for EM trackable disposable products
A packaging assembly for an electromagnetic trackable surgical tool and wiring thereof. The packaging assembly includes a first tray with at least one first retention member configured to couple the surgical tool to the first tray. The packaging assembly further includes a second tray configured to couple with the first tray. The second tray has at least one second retention member configured to couple the wiring of the surgical tool to the second tray.
