Device for applying labels to containers
A label applicator apparatus for applying an adhesive-backed label to a container is disclosed herein. The label is applied accurately at a desired height and positioned to be perfectly horizontal. The apparatus comprises a cradle comprising a headboard, a footboard, and two adjustable parallel rails forming a carriage for the container. The apparatus also includes an adjustable horizontal label stop that has a curved flange curving across the adjustable carriage and an adjustable bottle stop that can slide forwards and backwards. The adjustable bottle stop is positioned to apply the label to the container at a desired height, the container is placed on the carriage, the adjustable horizontal label stop is closed over the container, and the label is applied by aligning the label horizontally such that it touches the label stop at two contact points.
Labeling apparatus with robot and related methods
A labeling device may include a platform configured to advance objects, a sensing device directed toward the objects as the objects are advanced, and a label supply. The labeling device may include a robot configured to pick-up labels from the label supply and apply the labels to the objects as the objects are advanced, and a controller configured to operate the robot based upon the vision device.

Automatic high speed labeling system
A high speed automatic produce labeling system is provided, having a label dispense cycle of less than 17 milliseconds and capable of dispensing and applying 1,000 labels per minute per lane. First and second direct gear drives are actuated by a single stepper motor. A removable label cassette is driven by the first direct gear drive; the cassette carries a label carrier strip. An improved Geneva wheel drive forms part of the first gear drive which substantially reduces jerk and tearing of the label carrier strip while maintaining high labeling speed. The label cassette includes several quick-change components allowing the system to apply different size labels. An improved tensioning system is provided, minimizing slipping and tearing of the label carrier strip. An improved stripper plate tip actuator is also provided.

RECEPTACLE CONFIGURED FOR CONVEYOR MOUNTING
An apparatus is configured to be mounted on a conveyor that passes by a tagging machine, wherein the tagging machine is configured to apply a labeling article. The apparatus includes a first cup attached to the conveyor, a second cup slidably attached to the first cup, and a biasing mechanism that biases the second cup toward the conveyor. A method of applying a labeling article to a product comprises attaching a receptacle to a conveyor that passes by a tagging machine and positioning the product in the receptacle. An apparatus comprises a bar configured to be mounted on the conveyor and a receptacle including a base. The receptacle is configured to receive a product to which the labeling article is to be applied. The bar and base have a sliding interface for mutual connection and disconnection.
