PREFORM FOR BIAXIAL STRETCHING BLOW MOLDING, AND CONTAINER
A preform for biaxial stretching blow molding. The preform being formed into a closed-end cylinder by direct blow molding and which is to be shaped into a container using a pressurizing liquid medium. The preform has either a single-layer or a multilayer structure constituted of one of a polyethylene resin having an MFR of 1.0-1.5 g/10 min. or a polypropylene resin having an MFR of 0.8 to 2.3 g/10 min.
Plastic living hinges with block composite polymer
The present disclosure provides a plastic living hinge. The plastic living hinge includes a blend containing (A) an ethylene-based polymer; and (B) a composite component selected from the group consisting of a block composite, a crystalline block composite, and a combination thereof.
Ultrasound coupling liquid and container
A coupling liquid for ultrasound devices, preferably high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). The coupling liquid comprises a liquid aqueous solution of at least one hydrophilic polymer having an average molecular mass of between 30,000 and 70,000 and at least one alcohol with a carbon chain of 1 to 7 carbon atoms. Also disclosed is a container (10) for an ultrasound coupling liquid having a thin wall.
DOUBLE CONTAINER ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a manufacturing method for a double container that allows easy manufacturing with a molding device not significantly different from conventional devices and that can, at a lower cost than the processing cost of conventional technology, very easily and reliably form, in a comparatively rigid outer container and in a double container that allows, inside the outer container, capacity to be varied with respect to the amount of content, an opening for allowing external air to enter. When a pair of partial molds are brought near each other in order to form a split mold, at least part of the mating faces of the pair of partial molds forms a projection by sandwiching a small outer diameter portion of a parison, a gap that passes between the double container is created by cutting off the projection, and the gap is opened and expanded by screwing on a cap.
Glass Bottle
A glass bottle body made up by a neck jointed in continuity to a receptacle tubular wall, said bottle body being closed by a bottom wall placed on a bottle end side opposite regarding said neck, defining said bottom wall a receptacle capable of holding liquids, characterised in that said bottom wall is extended, in a perimeter area, by a base tubular wall that internally defines a cavity, said base tubular wall and the receptacle tubular wall being in opposite sides of the bottom wall; and the average height of the base tubular wall being equal to or larger than the average thickness of the base tubular wall, being the contents of the bottle highlighted by two laterally visible layers of the bottom of the bottle, producing a stand effect.
Block copolymer composition, and sheet
A block copolymer composition with a good balance of physical properties suitable for various types of packaging such as food product containers, beverage containers, industrial containers and blister packs, having excellent transparency, gloss, strength, rigidity and formability, having excellent anti-blocking properties and anti-sticking properties, and excelling in the aforementioned properties even when used in mixture with vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-type polymers is offered. A block copolymer composition of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene, wherein a block copolymer component (I) having a molecular weight peak in the range of molecular weight 150,000 to 300,000 and comprising tapered blocks has a conjugated diene content of 10 to 20 mass %; a block copolymer component (II) having a molecular weight peak in the range of molecular weight 50,000 to 140,000 and comprising tapered blocks has a conjugated diene content of 30 to 50 mass %; and a ratio (I)/(II) between molecular weight peak areas occupied by block copolymer component (I) and block copolymer component (II) in the block copolymer composition is 20/80 to 80/20.
