Method for Producing a Leak-Tight Vessel, and a Leak-Tight Vessel
The present invention describes a method for producing a leak-tight vessel for holding a gas and/or liquid, comprising the steps of winding a heat-sealable thermoplastic barrier strip around a removable mandrel in such a way that each strip fragment overlaps with a substantially parallel strip fragment over at least a lateral overlapping distance, consolidating the overlapping strip fragments so as to form a gas and/or liquid tight layer, winding a fibrous material around the gas and/or liquid tight layer, thereby leaving an opening large enough for removing the mandrel. The invention also describes a leak-tight vessel produced in this way.

The lid includes a central member and a surrounding frame with a sealing ring. The sealing ring serves as an interface between a lower peripheral edge of the frame and the upper free edge of the container. The frame has fastening members which complementary features disposed about the upper free edge of the container. Within the container is a separator having an outer profile substantially complementary with an inner contour of the container, whereby the interior of the container may be selectively divided by a user.

Thermoplastic bags with liquid directing structures
A thermoplastic bag includes structures that direct liquid away from areas of the bag more susceptible to failure and leaking. For example, one or more implementations include seals that direct liquid introduced into the bag away from corners of the bag. Additionally, one or more implementations include an insert positioned within the bag between the liquid directing structures such that the liquid directing structures direct liquid to the insert. In one or more implementations, the insert comprises an absorbent material. Thus, the liquid directing structures can direct liquid to a liquid absorbing insert.

The invention relates to a device for dosing into a container (2) a pasty food product including solid pieces and a sauce. The device comprises an metering nozzle (1) comprising a main outlet to which the pasty food product with solid pieces is provided by a first channel (13) of the nozzle (1), and at least two peripheral outlets situated at a periphery of the main outlet to which the sauce is provided by corresponding second channels (14). The device comprises a support (3) for holding a container (2) to be filled from the nozzle (1), and is configured so that the metering nozzle moves, relative to the support (3), following a path around a central axis of said support. A corresponding system and a method are also provided.
DISPOSABLE BOARD CONTAINER AND USES OF BOARD
The invention relates to a disposable container of fibrous board comprising a bottom (3) and an upward mantle (2) heat-sealed thereto. The material for both the bottom and the mantle is a polymer coated fibrous board, in which the coating covers at least the inner surfaces of the container. According to the invention the material comprises a fibrous board base (8) such as paperboard or cardboard, an extruded inner coating layer (9) of a blend of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), and an extruded outer coating layer (10) of polypropylene-olefin copolymer (PP-c). The inner coating layer (9) secures adhesion with the board base (8) and the outer coating layer (10) is for liquid-proof heat-sealing between the bottom (3) and the mantle (2) of the container. The container is in particular a microwave ovenable cup or food tray.
