CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER AND A CONTAINER PROVIDED THEREWITH
The present invention relates to a closure for a container, comprising, a tab attached by rivet means to a closure part to be displaced for forming an opening in the closure, which opening is at least partly defined by a score line formed in the closure, the tab comprises a tab body connected to the rivet means, a tab rear part for finger gripping, and a tab front part of which a tab nose is located near or at the score line, such that during a closure opening procedure comprising finger gripping the tab rear part, lifting the tab rear part thereby pressing the tab nose against the closure on or near the score line, popping the score line, and scoring the score line thereby forming an opening in the closure, characterized by score line parts separated by a score line part to be popped by the tab nose, which score line parts are stronger than the popping score line part, and by stiffening means stiffening closure parts neighboring the stronger score line parts, and to a container provided with such closure.
PROTECTIVE LID FOR CONTAINERS
A protective lid for containers, having an upper lid provided for covering the upper part of the container, and a hinge section provided for exerting an angular movement of the upper lid in relation to the upper face of the container, the hinge section having at least one connecting portion with a contact surface provided for being adhered by an adhesive material to the lateral wall of the container. The contact surface has an arched trajectory with a radius that is substantially equal to the bend radius of the lateral wall of the container, and with a length that is less than the circumferential length of the lateral wall of the container. In this way, the protective lid is not provided with a lower ring for securing same to the container, thereby simplifying the production and assembly process.
OPENING SYSTEM FOR A CONTAINER, A METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME AND A CONTAINER COMPRISING THE OPENING SYSTEM
An opening system for a container comprising a packaging material having an outside and an inside. An injection molded opening element, wherein the injection molded opening element is attached to the inside of the packaging material at a first point, and extends from the inside of the packaging material and through to the outside of the packaging material. And, wherein the injection molded opening element is attached to the outside of the packaging material at a second point and extends a distance from the second point for opening the container.
TAMPER EVIDENT CONTAINER
A tamper evident closure includes a first snap, a second snap, a tear strip connected to the second snap, and a first projection extending around three sides of the first snap. In a closed position, the second snap is positioned in a cavity of the first snap, and the first projection surrounds three sides of the second snap that is positioned in the cavity of the first snap.
STRUCTURAL ARRANGEMENT IN A SEAL FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
A structural arrangement in a seal for beverage containers, forming a seal and a beverage container combination, enabling for the beverage containers to be opened by removing the seal, thus preventing the seal from contacting the liquid, preventing contamination of the liquid while providing a fast and practical removal of the seal.
Canister with dispersing aperture
A canister with a novel dispensing aperture is described. The aperture is located within a continuous surface opposite the seamed canister end. By thus locating the aperture, canister contents may be dispensed or sipped without the interference of debris-collecting grooves, seam edges, and sharp angles typical of canisters with dispensing apertures located on seamed ends.
CONTAINER LID WITH A DISPOSABLE UTENSIL
A lid with a disposable utensil for sealing a pet food container includes a lid, a gripping member, and a disposable utensil. The lid is releasably attached to an upper end of the pet food container. The lid includes an upper surface and a lower surface. The gripping member is positioned on the upper surface of the lid for removing the lid of the pet food container. The disposable utensil is detachably attached to the upper surface of the lid for accessing the pet food container.
LAMINATED CAN END STOCK WITH ELEVATED TEMPERATURE ANNEALING
Improved aluminum can end stock (CES) is disclosed. The CES includes a laminated, amorphous polymer coating exhibiting low feathering, low blushing, and high performance in an acetic acid test. The laminated metal strip can include the laminated polymer coating on an interior-facing side and a lacquered coating on an exterior-facing side. The CES is formed by performing an annealing process on the laminated metal strip, wherein the metal strip is raised to an annealing temperature above the melting point of the polymer for a sufficient duration to render the polymer amorphous. In some cases, the polymer film laminated to the metal strip is a Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film.
CAN CONTAINER
A can container includes a can lid including a disk-shaped panel portion in which a circular score line defining a region for forming a drinking opening is formed on an outer peripheral edge side, a groove portion connected to the outer peripheral edge of the panel portion and recessed from the panel portion; and a can body including a cylindrical body portion, a fixing portion fixed to the flange portion, and a tapered portion provided between the body portion and the fixing portion and having a diameter reduced from the body portion toward the fixing portion, wherein a ratio between a diameter of the score line and an inner diameter of the body portion is 0.6 to 0.8.
STEEL SHEET FOR CANS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STEEL SHEET FOR CANS
A steel sheet for cans has a chemical composition containing, by mass %, C: 0.015% or more and 0.150% or less, Si: 0.04% or less, Mn: 1.0% or more and 2.0% or less, P: 0.025% or less, S: 0.015% or less, Al: 0.01% or more and 0.10% or less, N: 0.0005% or more and less than 0.0050%, Ti: 0.003% or more and 0.015% or less, B: 0.0010% or more and 0.0040% or less, and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities. The steel sheet has a microstructure including a ferrite phase as a main phase and at least one of a martensite phase and a retained austenite phase as a second phase, the total area fraction of the second phase being 1.0% or more, and the sheet has a tensile strength of 480 MPa or more, a total elongation of 12% or more, and a yield elongation of 2.0% or less.
