BOTTLE WITH SENSORS FOR PROBING AND OPTIMIZING BOTTLING LINE PERFORMANCE
A bottle with sensors for probing and optimizing bottling line performance is disclosed. According to one embodiment a bottle, comprises an outer layer and a reservoir tube inside the outer layer that connects a reservoir inside the outer layer to a neck of the bottle. The bottle has a battery inside the outer layer and one or more sensors powered by the battery.
Container Assembly with Electronic Transaction Component
A container assembly includes a container, e.g., configured for containing a beverage, where the container has a connecting structure, and a carrier assembly that includes a carrier having engagement structure configured for releasable connection to the connecting structure of the beverage container to releasably connect the beverage container to the carrier assembly. The carrier assembly also includes a chip engaged with the carrier such that the chip is carried by the carrier, where the chip stores electronic payment information and is configured for transmitting the electronic payment information to an external computer for authorizing payment.
Recyclable composite container
A composite container having a paperboard hollow body with top and bottom open ends. The body is formed by a sidewall with inner and outer surfaces. The composite container includes a body liner extending peripherally about the inner surface of the body and a base connectable to the bottom open end of the hollow body. The base includes a sidewall sized and shaped to fit snugly within the bottom open end of the body. The sidewall is permanently coupled to a bottom portion of the liner. The composite container also includes a collar connectable to the top open end of the hollow body. The collar has a peripheral portion that abuts the top open end and an inner circumferential flange sized and shaped to fit snugly within the top open end of the body. The inner circumferential flange is permanently coupled to a top portion of the liner. The peripheral portion has regions of weakened strength so that the section of the peripheral portion that abuts the top open end can be removed, thereby allowing a user to rapidly remove the coupled collar, liner and base from the hollow body.

DEVICE FOR MEASURING THE TEMPERATURE OF A BEVERAGE BOTTLE
A device (100; 200; 300; 400) comprising: a first arm (1051; 2051; 3051; 4051) adapted to accommodate and retain a bottle neck of a beverage bottle; a second arm (1052; 2052; 3052; 4052), extending from the first arm (1051; 2051; 3051; 4051), configured to extend towards a bottle body of the beverage bottle when the device (100; 200; 300; 400) is mounted on the beverage bottle; a temperature measuring unit (120), housed in the second arm (1052; 2052; 3052; 4052), facing the bottle body when the device (100; 200; 300; 400) is mounted on the beverage bottle, and a wireless communication unit (125) coupled to the temperature measuring unit (120) and adapted to wirelessly communicate with a display unit arranged to provide an indication associated with the temperature of the beverage bottle as measured by the temperature measuring unit (120).
Container for receiving a beverage
For the carrying of beverages, it is known to fill the beverages into containers. Generally, the opening of the container is either suitable for drinking directly from the container or for filling the container with the beverage and cleaning said container. The invention therefore provides a container for receiving a beverage, which container is particularly easy to handle and is able to be effectively cleaned. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that an upper portion of a body of the container has at least a first opening and a second opening, which are respectively to be closed and opened by means of a cap.
Device and method for dispensing a beverage and imaging contrast agent
A device and method are provided for storing a prefilled liquid beverage, receiving an oral contrast imaging agent that is mixed with the prefilled liquid beverage, and dispensing a resulting beverage/oral contrast imaging agent mixture. The device has a body defining a chamber for storing the prefilled liquid beverage. A closure is movable between a closed position for sealing the prefilled liquid in the chamber, and an open position for (i) introducing the oral contrast imaging agent into the chamber for mixture with the prefilled liquid beverage, and (ii) dispensing the beverage/oral contrast imaging agent mixture. The device may include first graduations, a time scale and second graduations. The body defines a substantially smooth, axially extending patient information surface including thereon a plurality of marking spaces and respective patient information indicia associated with each marking space for marking thereon information relating to a respective patient.
REFILLABLE PET BOTTLE CODIFICATION FOR CONTAINER LIFECYCLE TRACEABILITY
A polymeric container including a code unique to the container that identifies the container. The code is on an inner surface of the container or on an outer surface of the container.

Sterilization method and apparatus
Disclosed is a method of sterilizing an article by sequentially exposing the article under vacuum first to a gaseous conditioning agent for forming radicals and then to a sterilant. The preferred conditioning agent is hydrogen peroxide and the preferred sterilant is ozone. The chamber is initially evacuated to a first vacuum pressure and then sealed for the remainder of the sterilization process and during all sterilant injection cycles, without removal of any component of the sterilization atmosphere, which means without any measures to reduce the water vapor content. Keeping the chamber sealed and maintaining the conditioning agent and the radicals generated thereby in the chamber for the sterilization with sterilant results in a synergistic increase in the sterilization efficiency and allows for the use of much lower sterilant amounts and sterilization cycle times than would be expected from using the conditioning agent and the sterilant in combination.
