Heat-shrinkable multilayer film and heat-shrinkable label
The present invention provides a heat shrinkable multilayer film that can prevent wrinkles or loosening after attachment when the film is attached to a container as a heat shrinkable label for dry heat shrinking, and a heat shrinkable label including the heat shrinkable multilayer film as a base film. Provided is a heat shrinkable multilayer film including: front and back layers each containing a polyester resin; and an interlayer containing a polystyrene resin, wherein the heat shrinkable multilayer film has a dimensional change in a TD represented by an equation (1) of −55 to −1000 μm as measured by thermomechanical analysis (TMA) in which the temperature of the heat shrinkable multilayer film under a load of 0.10 N is increased from 30° C. to 60° C. at a temperature increase rate of 5° C./min and then cooled from 60° C. to 10° C. at a temperature decrease rate of 5° C./min, the equation (1) being: Dimensional change=dimension in TD at 20° C. −dimension in TD at 60° C. Signal encoding for aluminum alloy containers
This disclosure relates to advanced image signal processing technology including encoded signals and digital watermarking. One claim is directed to a container comprising: a 3004 or 3003 aluminum alloy shell, the shell comprising an outer surface and an inner surface; a first layer of transparent ink printed on the outer surface as a flood within a first region; a second layer of the transparent ink printed over the first layer of transparent ink within the first region, in which the second layer of the transparent ink is printed to include a plurality of holes without any transparent ink printed therein; an opaque ink printed within the plurality of holes of the second layer of transparent ink on first layer of transparent ink within the first region, in which: i) the outer surface/first layer/second layer, and ii) the outer surface/first layer/opaque ink comprise a spectral reflectance difference at a machine-vision wavelength in the range of 8%-35%, and in which the plurality of holes are arranged in a 2-dimensional pattern according to a machine-readable signal, the 2-dimensional pattern being machine-readable from imagery captured of the first region. Of course, other containers, methods, packages, objects, systems, technology and apparatus are described in this disclosure.
Cover for holding tray
A holding apparatus comprises a tray configured to hold food product therein, a holding portion configured to hold the tray therein, and a cover configured to cover the tray held in the holding portion. The cover comprises a covering portion, a pair of flange portions, the covering portion being disposed between the pair of flange portions, and a channel formed in each of the flange portions. The channel comprises a first portion extending from an edge of each of the flange portions, a supporting portion, and a second portion formed between the first portion and the supporting portion. The holding apparatus further comprises a projecting portion disposed on the holding apparatus and configured to be coupled to the channel such that the cover is suspended in the holding portion via contact between the projecting portion and the supporting portion of the channel.
Compressible plastic container with base cup
A container, in particular a plastic container with a base region, a main body which adjoins this base region and is suitable to receive a volume of liquid, and with a mouth region, wherein the container can be compressed along its longitudinal direction for the removal of liquid located in the container is provided. On the base region a base cup is disposed which forms a base surface for the container and which when the container is compressed can also serve as a die element and/or die counter-element for compressing the container.
RECYCLABLE COMPOSITE CONTAINER
A composite container having a paperboard hollow body with top and bottom open ends. The body is formed by a sidewall with inner and outer surfaces. The composite container includes a body liner extending peripherally about the inner surface of the body and a base connectable to the bottom open end of the hollow body. The base includes a sidewall sized and shaped to fit snugly within the bottom open end of the body. The sidewall is permanently coupled to a bottom portion of the liner. The composite container also includes a collar connectable to the top open end of the hollow body. The collar has a peripheral portion that abuts the top open end and an inner circumferential flange sized and shaped to fit snugly within the top open end of the body. The inner circumferential flange is permanently coupled to a top portion of the liner. The peripheral portion has regions of weakened strength so that the section of the peripheral portion that abuts the top open end can be removed, thereby allowing a user to rapidly remove the coupled collar, liner and base from the hollow body.
MAGNETIC HOLDER
Embodiments of a magnetic holder that utilizes a magnet to attach a bottle or other object to a ferromagnetic surface are disclosed.
