A side opening storage box includes a body having an opening on the peripheral wall thereof and provided with a buckle structure, and a side cover provided with a positioning structure and a pivot structure. The pivot structure is movably pivoted to the position of the peripheral wall corresponding to the opening so that the side cover can be deflected relative to the peripheral wall to close or open the opening. The positioning structure is detachably installed on the buckle structure to position the side cover on the peripheral wall, achieving the purpose of simple use, convenient access to storage items for users, and improvement of the practicality of the storage box.

A method, a food container, a lid, and pad for a food container that actively removes moisture in the food container without changing the food temperature inside the container in a meaningful way are disclosed herein. The removal of moisture is achieved by introducing a cold spot (below the dew point temperature) inside the food container that forces condensation of moisture near the cold spot. The condensed moisture is then captured by an absorbent element placed below, and preferably adjacent to/collocated with, the cold spot and between the cold spot and the stored food. The cold spot is preferably achieved by a properly chosen frozen substance such as an ice cube or a frozen gel packet or ice trapped inside an absorbent pad.

A crate includes a base and a plurality of walls defining a crate interior. The plurality of walls are movable between an upright position and a collapsed position on the base. The plurality of walls include a front wall having a first portion movable between a retracted, open position and a closed position. A latch selectively secures the first portion in the closed position. The phase-change accommodating rigid fluid container disclosed herein includes a variety of features that protect the container from phase changes of a fluid stored therein. As a result, the container may be in direct contact with the fluid without any flexible membrane or bag there between. For example, the fluid container may include one or more of matched pairs of recesses for physical manipulation of the container, stiffening ribs extending between the recesses, and input/output assemblies acting as inputs for fluid into the container, outputs of fluid from the container, and vents for pressure equalization of the container.

A configurable container assembly is described.
