Expanding storage bags
11498308 · 2022-11-15 · ·

A thermoplastic bag includes raised rib-like elements that allow the thermoplastic bag to expand. The thermoplastic bag further includes side seals having rib-like elements that allow the side seals to expand. Additionally, in one or more implementations, the thermoplastic bag includes one or more of a material formulation, a density of raised rib-like elements, a height of raised rib-like elements, or land areas that provide the raised rib-like elements with a reduced rebound ratio.

ANTISLIP FLEXIBLE MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR THEIR MAKING AND USE
20220055066 · 2022-02-24 ·

A method for forming an antislip material. A flexible thermoplastic carrier is provided. A hot release surface is provided. Provided is a first layer of discrete thermoplastic particles, sifting on the hot release surface. The discrete particles are above their softening temperatures, providing in the first layer a tackiness. The method includes contacting the carrier with the tacky first layer for sticking the first layer to the carrier, and thereafter removing the carrier, and therewith the tacky first layer stuck to the carrier, from the release surface. Thereby the carrier is provided with a hot, preferably discontinuous and/or elastomeric antislip coating. With a heat energy of the hot coating a bond is formed between the carrier and the coating. The removing of the carrier includes pulling the carrier out of the contact with a pulling-out force. The temperature of the hot release surface is above the melting temperature of the carrier. The carrier would be spoiled, if heated completely to the temperature of the release surface and simultaneously pulled with the pulling-out force. Therefore the contacting time is kept shorter than a minimum time required by a heat of the hot release surface for spoiling the carrier. Flat-topped roughening projections can be included in the antislip coating.

Packaging bag

A packaging bag with a body for storing a plurality of articles to be packaged, wherein the body has a top surface part, a bottom surface part that opposes the top surface part in the vertical direction, and a plurality of lateral surface parts that are arranged between the top surface part and the bottom surface part; a slash part for opening is provided to at least one of the plurality of lateral surface parts; and the slash part has a first slit that extends from near the top surface part to near the bottom surface part in the vertical direction, and a second slit that is contiguous to one end of the first slit on the top surface part side and that extends in the traverse direction intersecting the vertical direction.

Envelope-shaped pocket in gift bag

A gift bag having an envelope-shaped pocket therein for transporting and presenting an envelope, card, or other merchandise with the gift bag is provided. The pocket may be integrally formed with the gift bag, or at least partially formed from a separately attached piece, and may be positioned at various locations within the bag. The pocket may also be formed to look like an envelope.

THERMOPLASTIC BAGS COMPRISING LAMINATES HAVING BONDED PROTRUSIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
20220055801 · 2022-02-24 ·

Thermoplastic bags include laminates with bonded protrusions. More specifically, one or more implementations include a first thermoplastic film with a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the first thermoplastic film and second thermoplastic film bonded to the protrusions (e.g., raised rib-like elements or troughs between the raised rib-like elements) of the first thermoplastic film. By bonding a second thermoplastic film to the protrusions of the first thermoplastic film, the resulting laminate has an increased effective gauge or loft. In one or more implementations the second thermoplastic film is a flat film. In alternative implementations, the second thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the second thermoplastic film and protrusions of the first thermoplastic film are bonded to protrusions of the second thermoplastic film.

PRE-COATED SEASONING BAGS

A seasoning bag for seasoning a foodstuff that includes an edible adhesive adhered to an interior of the seasoning bag and a seasoning adhered to the interior of the seasoning bag via the edible adhesive. The seasoning bag may be used in connection the preparation and/or cooking of foodstuffs. The bag may be used to season, marinade, and store a foodstuff. The bag may also be a cook-in bag, suitable for roasting, microwaving, slow cooking, and/or boiling.

TAMPER-EVIDENT MESH MATERIAL AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE THEREFOR
20170305607 · 2017-10-26 ·

The present invention is directed to tamper-evident mesh material, methods of manufacture therefor, and tamper-evident bags manufactured therefrom. The tamper-evident mesh material of the present invention may be used, for example, in the manufacture of a variety of tamper-evident security bags for use in applications where it is desirable to detect any traces or evidence of tampering with or of unauthorized access to the contents of the bag.

Packs of Plastic Bags and Racks for Suspending The Packs of Plastic Bags

A pack of bags is disclosed having folded sides being folded in the back towards the middle portion thereof to form a gap therebetween. The pack of bags maybe enveloped by a sleeve. The pack of bags with or without the sleeve is suspended form a rack by inserting a hooks or hooks of the rack in the opening or openings at the disposable upper portion of the pack. The rack has an extension that abuts the upper middle portion of the back of the pack of bags in the gap formed between the folded sides and biases the back towards the front to facilitate the removal of bags.

Holder for used bags
09795238 · 2017-10-24 ·

A front holder section for use in forming a holder for used plastic bags. The front holder section has at least two container sections with the first container section having a first front wall and first and second sidewalls extending rearwardly from the sides of the first front wall. The second container section has a second front wall, smaller than the first front wall, extending transversely from the second side wall of the first container section. The second container section also has a third side wall extending rearwardly from the free side of the second front wall. The second sidewall of the first container section completes the second container section. The three sidewalls terminate in free side edges which edges are aligned in a straight line. Each container section has an opening at least near each end, one opening acting as an inlet to load bags into the container, the other opening acting as an outlet to remove bags from the container.

Tamper-evident, tear-open resealable package

A tamper-evident package utilizes a transparent resealable adhesive structure such as a tape or a label to cover the closure opening. Upon a first opening of the package frangible portions of the package front between adjacent arcuate cuts and slits defining the opening are torn. This tearing distorts the packaging film so that re-registration of the opposing lateral edges upon reclosing is not possible. This results in a package which is visually tamper-evident. The tamper-evident condition can be enhanced by graphics or other printing on the front of the package in the area of the closure to make the misalignment of a resealed closure viewed through the transparent structure more visually apparent. In one embodiment of the invention a series of arcuate cuts are centered laterally and are flanked on the right and left sides by two continuous wavy slits which form a portion of the closure opening.
