Surface treatment by water-soluble polymers and lipids/liposomes
A method of reducing a friction coefficient of a surface is disclosed herein, comprising attaching a water-soluble polymer to the surface, and contacting the water-soluble polymer with liposomes, thereby coating the surface with an amphiphilic lipid. Further disclosed herein are solutions comprising a water-soluble polymer attachable to the surface, liposomes, and an aqueous carrier, for reducing a friction coefficient of a surface, and methods utilizing same. Articles of manufacture comprising a substrate coated by a water-soluble polymer which is coated by an amphiphilic lipid are also described, as are uses and methods for treating a synovial joint disorder associated with increased articular friction.
Tubular holder
The present disclosure is directed to a holder. The holder includes a main body, the main body including an interior surface and an exterior surface, a film that extends around at least a portion of the circumference of a first end of the main body and covers an opening of the first end of the main body, and a sheet including a first surface and a second surface, the second surface opposed to the first surface, the first surface operably attached to the seal at at least one point, the sheet configured to extend a distance along an interior of the main body from the first end towards a second end, wherein at least a portion of the first surface of the sheet contacts the interior surface of the main body, and wherein a liquid composition contacts a second surface of the sheet.

Internal threaded tube
A tube for dispensing product includes a closed first end, an open second end opposing the closed first end, and a side wall extending between the closed first end and the open second end. The side wall and the closed first end define an interior portion to hold product. The side wall of the tube includes internal threads extending inwardly from the side wall adjacent to the open second end. The various elements of the tube may include interlocking features to seal the tube from outside fluids.
Squeeze tube and method of making a squeeze tube
A squeeze tube includes a fluid-discharge container and a fluid-discharge closure mated to the fluid-storage container. The fluid-discharge closure is coupled to one end of the fluid-storage container and configured to discharge selectively fluid stored in a product-storage region formed in the fluid-storage container.
Cartridges for Vaporizer Devices
Cartridges for vaporizer devices are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the cartridge can include a reservoir housing having at least one inner container that is configured to hold a vaporizable material, and a vaporization chamber in communication with the reservoir housing and including at least one wicking element configured to draw the vaporizable material from the at least one inner container to the vaporization chamber to be vaporized by a heating element, in which the at least one inner container is substantially sealed to the at least one wicking element, and wherein the at least one inner container is configured to collapse as the vaporizable material is withdrawn therefrom. Vaporizer devices are also provided.

Multi-compartmental container
A multi-compartmental container for storage and easy mixing of two or more materials, e.g., pastes, is disclosed. The container has a container portion that includes two or more compartments containing materials that need to be mixed. The container further includes an outlet nozzle provided at an operative top end of the container. The compartments of the container portion are in fluid communication with each other so that the contents of the compartments can inter-mix with each other, when the container is shaken manually, thereby providing a final product that is to be applied to a body part of a user.
Surface treatment of contact lens and treatment of ocular discomfort by water soluble polymers and lipids/liposomes
Formulations (e.g., solutions) comprising one or more water-soluble polymer(s), liposomes, and an aqueous carrier, are provided. The provided solutions are useful for rinsing, and/or immersing therein, a contact lens and/or in the treatment of ocular discomfort, for example, an ocular discomfort associated with a contact lens. Also provided are kits comprising the solution and a contact lens; articles-of-manufacturing comprising the solution and configured for dispending the solution; and methods utilizing the solution.
