A vacuum sealing cap for a container includes an outer cap body, an inner cap body movable toward or away from the outer cap body, a sealing gasket compressible by the outer cap body to abut sealingly against the mouth of the container when the inner cap body moves toward the outer cap body, a slide member connected to the inner cap body, and an operating member connected pivotally to the slide member and pivotable between first and second positions, where the operating member pulls upwardly and pushes downwardly the slide member to move the inner cap body upwardly toward and downwardly away from the outer cap body. The sealing gasket is pressed and is not pressed sealingly against the mouth of the container in the first and second positions, respectively.

In one example, the product delivery device may include an inlet port; a conical section that may include a wide end and a narrow end; an outlet port flush with the narrow end of the conical section and extending away from the conical section; and a securement feature configured to connect the wide end of the conical section to a container. In another example, a system for aseptic dry product delivery may include a container at least partially filled with the aseptic dry product; a product delivery device; a pressure source connected to an inlet port; and a receiving vessel where the aseptic dry product is collected.

The ram air fan inlet shroud including: a shroud portion extending outwardly from a conical portion, the conical portion providing a transition between a central portion and an inner ram air fan hub interface portion, the conical portion including a plurality of inner cooling holes, a diameter of each of the plurality of inner cooling holes is about 0.406 inches (1.031 cm); and a recessed portion located between the inner ram air fan hub interface portion and an outer ram air fan hub interface portion, the recessed portion including a plurality of outer cooling holes.

A cap for coupling to a medical adapter may include a housing with a closed top end and an open bottom end with legs that extend from the housing away from the bottom end. Members may extend from an inner surface of the legs to engage and secure the cap to a medical adapter or an insert configured to mate with a medical adapter. A cap may include angular ridges between a cap housing and an insert to permit rotation of the cap in single direction and prevent removal of the cap from a medical adapter. A cap may include hinged legs to permit the cap to be secured to a medical adapter by rotating the legs toward each other until a portion of a collar on each leg may be matingly joined around the medical adapter.

Portable beverage container

A portable beverage container is provided. The portable beverage container may include a glass vessel having a neck; a metal outer shell configured to surround a first portion of the glass vessel; a cap configured to engage with the metal outer shell to surround a second portion of the glass vessel; and an amorphous thermoplastic spout having a neck configured to be inserted through an opening in the cap and into the neck of the glass vessel. The spout may be configured to securely engage with the cap. The cap may include a lid with an elastomeric sealing member having a knob configured to extend into a recess in the spout and a recess configured to wrap around and over a lip of the spout. The spout may be removable from the cap while the cap is engaged with the outer shell.

Container and cap for a biological specimen

A container for collecting a biological specimen is provided that includes a peripheral wall extending from a base. The container further includes a longitudinal tower disposed within the container. The tower forms a partition within the container to form at least a first chamber and a second chamber therein, wherein the first and second chambers are in fluid communication with one another. In addition, the container includes an insert disposed within the container opposite the base, the insert comprising at least a first opening and a second opening. The second opening provides access to the second chamber and is further configured to engage a specimen collecting device to leave a portion of the specimen collecting device within the second chamber. The first opening provides access to the first chamber and is further configured to receive a syringe therein for accessing the biological specimen. Associated systems and methods are also provided.

The band (3) includes retaining cams (31) protruding from its inner surface (30). Each cam (31) has a lead-in ramp (32) for engaging, in use, the flange (12) of a container neck (11) as the neck (11) is introduced into the open end (21) of the body (2) and a stop (33) for engaging the flange (12) to separate the band (3) from the body (2) when the closure (1) is subsequently removed from the neck (11). Each lead-in ramp (32) has a central recess (34) therein.

A packaging assembly includes a container body defining an interior for housing a product and an opening leading to the interior. The assembly further includes a cap that moves with respect to the container body to move the assembly between a closed position in which the cap covers the opening, and an opened position in which the opening is exposed. A first seal (40) is defined between the container body and the cap. The first seal includes a protrusion (42) formed on one of the container body about the opening or the cap, and a groove (44) formed on the other of the container body about the opening or the cap. The protrusion is received by the groove when the assembly is in the closed position, such that contact is maintained in a sealing relationship around the opening between the groove and the protrusion.
