Composite Articles of Lattice Reinforced Elastomers
A composite article includes a lattice and an elastomeric section. The lattice includes a plurality of members that form an open-mesh frame defining a plurality of voids between the adjacent members of the frame. The elastomeric section is formed of an elastomer that is disposed about the lattice and within the voids of the lattice. The composite article may be a circular gasket, a gasket with a grip, a rectangular gasket, a vessel cap, a flask stand, and a handle for a hand tool.
Ovenable package with multiple layer film lid and resealable adhesive between the layers
An ovenable package comprises an ovenable receptacle configured to hold a food product. The receptacle has an open face surrounded by a rim. An ovenable laminated film lid is attached to the rim of the receptacle by a welded seal between a lower face of the laminated film lid and the rim of the receptacle. The laminated film lid comprises a first layer, a second layer above the first layer and a resealable adhesive between the first and second layers. An unopened package is openable by separating the second layer from the first layer in a peripheral region. The opened package can be reclosed to a ventable state by reattaching the second layer to the peripheral region of the first layer by the resealable adhesive. The ventable state permits venting of gas from an interior of the receptacle between the second layer and the peripheral region of the first layer.
Tubular container comprising applicator
A tubular container includes an applicator that not only easily controls a slope degree of the support body, by installing a rotation control part at an inner side of a support body, when applying contents onto skin by using an applicator or massaging, but also prevents the deformation of an upper portion of the support body which is coupled with the applicator through a rotation control part, such that assemblability with the applicator is improved and thus separation of the applicator is prevented.
Composite container with peelable membrane
A composite container is provided for holding products (e.g., stacked chips). The container includes a tubular body and a peelable membrane. The tubular body is made of at least one paperboard body ply having an inner surface and a metallized Oriented Polypropylene (mOPP) liner ply adhered to the inner surface of the paperboard body ply. A liner sealant is disposed on the inner surface of the mOPP liner ply, and the paperboard body ply and the mOPP liner ply are rolled outwardly to form a rim. The membrane, which has a membrane sealant on its inner surface, is sealed to the liner sealant in the area of the rim to close the container. When the membrane is peeled away, the membrane sealant and the liner sealant remain sealed to each other and cause separation within the mOPP liner ply, avoiding tearing and exposure of the paperboard in the rim.
Scented attachment for containers
Aspects of the disclosure include an attachment for providing a scent to a container. In some aspects, a scent delivery system includes a bottle including a collar and a ledge structure each extending circumferentially outward; a scent ring loaded with a volatile chemical agent to emanate and generate a scent and including an interior protruding structure projecting from an interior wall of the ring, the scent ring configured to fasten around the neck of the bottle based on contact between the interior protruding structure and the ledge structure of the bottle; and a cap reversibly attachable to the bottle and including an interior rim structure that circumferentially projects from the interior of the cap, where the cap is structured to enclose the scent ring in a compartment formed between the collar and the interior rim structure when the cap is securely fastened to the bottle and trap the scent.
Universal bottle cap assembly
A universal bottle cap assembly includes a housing having a cavity therein, a cap insert, and a dispensing member. The housing defining an opening configured to provide access to the cavity therein. The cap insert extends between a first portion and a second portion, each of the first and second portions of the cap insert including a plurality of concentric sleeves configured to enclose a beverage container, wherein the cap insert is configured to be disposed within the cavity of the housing. The dispensing member extends through the cap insert and includes a hollow body configured to provide a free flow of materials therethrough.
PERSONAL-CARE APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A liquid dispensing razor with a handle defining a cavity. A cartridge mounted to the handle. The cartridge has a cap, a guard and one or more blades between the cap and the guard. A fluid applicator is mounted to the shaving razor cartridge for delivering fluid to a surface to be shaved. A fluid reservoir is at least partially positioned within the cavity of the handle. The fluid reservoir has an inner wall defining an opening and a frangible seal within the opening. A fluid connector is positioned within the cavity. The fluid connector has an angled tip configured to pierce the frangible seal to establish a fluid connection between the fluid applicator and the fluid reservoir. The fluid reservoir has an inner wall with an annular rib that engages the fluid connector.
Full aperture can end
A full aperture unseamed can end having a vent test rating of at least 90 psi comprising a center panel having an periphery and including a coined portion proximate a rivet, a first score defining a removable panel, a tab, including a nose, mounted to of the removable panel, and a second score disposed on the removable panel, the second score having (i) a central portion spaced apart from the coined portion; (ii) a pair of check slots disposed on either side of the central portion; (iii) a pair of lateral portions that extend from the check slots; and (iv) a pair of side portions that extend from the lateral portions, respectively.
CAP
A cap adapted to cover an end of a cask for maturation of a spirit, comprises a body having an outer plate and a flange extending from the outer plate, and an inner plate spaced from the outer plate. The inner plate lies between the outer plate and the end of the cask when the cap is in place on the end of the cask. A layered or ridged spacer can separate the plates, and can permit fluid transfer in the space between the plates. The inner plate can be resistant to vapour transfer, and can be pressed against the outer surface of the end of the cask when the cap is in place on the end of the cask, and leaves an annular area of the end of the cask uncovered.
