Disclosed herein is a grip-type locking device for a terminal. The locking device includes a body. Two grips are connected to opposite sides of the body, respectively. An interval adjusting pin adjusts an interval between the two grips, thus locking or releasing the terminal interposed therebetween. A cable is connected at opposite ends thereof to a controller and the terminal, respectively. The cable is securely coupled to the body so that load applied to the cable on the controller is blocked by the body and thus is not transmitted to the cable on the terminal.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a surgical cassette with compliant clamping zones to provide more uniform loading. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a surgical cassette includes a clamping portion that is configured to deform to conform to non-uniform load profile applied to the cassette. The clamping portion can include ribs that are sized and made of a suitable material such that the ribs will deflect predictably in the elastic region and flow plastically when the material yield point is exceeded. The use of ribs creates discrete small load areas that will deflect and distort predictably and non-catastrophically at high loads. This allows for the absorption of accumulated tolerances between the clamping mechanism and cassette (e.g., the non-parallelism between the clamping mechanism and cassette) while still providing a distributed load on the cassette.

A removable closure assembly has a cap making a liquid-tight seal with a tri-clamp assembly to the open end of a filter assembly body. The closure assembly has a filter which fits within the filter body. To aid in separating the closure assembly from the body, the cap has an outwardly extending shaft fixed thereto. The shaft is terminated by a radially protruding stop block. A handle is slidable on the shaft and functions as a slide hammer weight with an end wall facing the cap through which the shaft extends. The handle is movable to strike the shaft stop block and apply a force to the stop block and shaft for separating the cap from the body. The stop block has axial channels allowing a clean out of place system to exchange cleaning fluid with an interior volume of the handle.

A removable closure assembly has a cap making a liquid-tight seal with a tri-clamp assembly to the open end of a filter assembly body. A clamp to secure a tonneau cover to a frame of a cargo box includes a first clamp member coupled to the tonneau cover and has a first clamping surface. A second clamp member is coupled to the tonneau cover and has a second clamping surface. A ramp mechanism can include at least one ramp surface between the first and second clamp members shaped to cause lateral translation of the second clamping surface toward the first clamping surface in response to axial movement of the second clamp member toward the first clamp member as the clamp moves from an unclamped position to a clamped position. When in the clamped position, the first clamping surface of the first clamp member can be in opposed relationship to the second clamping surface to apply a clamping force therebetween, which can reinforce and prevent permanent deformation of the frame.

The locking unit is at least partially moved toward the release position when the blocking means is in the blocking position, and that the blocking means reaches the blocking position at least through a translational movement of the lid.

A preparation module arrangeable in a receiving area of a kitchen appliance base, the preparation module having at least one preparation vessel and lid, the preparation vessel having at least one preparation chamber and at least one locking unit, the lid being removable in at least one release position of the locking unit and is locked with the preparation vessel in at least one locking position of the locking unit, wherein the locking unit has at least one blocking means, which in a blocking position prevents movement of the locking unit at least into the release position, at least when a force from the preparation chamber acts on the lid. The locking unit is at least partially moved toward the release position when the blocking means is in the blocking position, and that the blocking means reaches the blocking position at least through a translational movement of the lid.
