Non-removable tamper resistant lid
The present invention relates to a tamper resistant lid for a container. The lid exhibits a center axis (X) and includes an outer and an inner member. The outer and inner members are further adapted to be substantially prevented from displacement along the center axis (X) with respect to each other. At least a part of the inner member includes threads enabling a threaded connection to the container by means of rotating the outer member in a first direction. The lid further includes at least one stop member preventing the inner member from rotation with respect to the outer member. The at least one stop member is adapted to be controllably disabled with a designated force after said inner member has been connected to the container, so that the outer member can be freely rotated with respect to the inner member to thereby prevent removal of the lid from the container. The present invention enables the sealing of a container, while substantially preventing the container from being reopened.

Tamper-evident closure, container with such closure and its use
A tamper-evident closure for a container with an outer screw thread opening, including an outer cap with a first sidewall and a first top wall and an inner cap with a second sidewall and a second top wall. The inner cap is coaxially nested within the outer cap and has an inner thread. The outer and inner cap have cooperating engagement mechanisms arranged and shaped so when opening the closure for the first time, the inner cap is rotated by the outer cap. The first top wall has a tamper-evident member which is connected to a surrounding region of the first top wall by a frangible component. A protruding element, arranged for breaking the frangible component, is arranged at the first top wall facing the second top wall and/or the second top wall facing the first top wall so as to face the tamper-evident member.
PILL DISPENSING ASSEMBLY
A drug dispensing assembly for dispensing solid drug delivery vessels from a bottle includes a first layer having a vessel exit passage. A second layer is operatively connected to the first layer, and includes a vessel entry passage horizontally offset from the exit passage. A vessel dispensing layer is positioned between the first and second layers, is movable with respect to the first and second layers, and includes a holding chamber sized to receive the vessel. The holding chamber is movable from a first loading position in which the holding chamber is aligned with the entry passage and is horizontally offset from the exit passage to receive the vessel, to a second dispensing position in which the holding chamber is aligned with the exit passage and is horizontally offset from the entry passage to dispense the vessel through the exit passage. The holding chamber may be configured with a fulcrum and a ramp. Interchangeable alignment inserts and interchangeable chamber inserts may be inserted into slots within the second layer and vessel dispensing layer for receiving interchangeable inserts.

Compact Pill Bottle Cap Requiring Biometric Authentication for Removal
A pill bottle cap provides access to authorized users using a biometric authentication feature. The pill bottle cap broadly includes: a shroud; a plurality of clamp members, each movably mounted to the shroud; a drive member interconnected with each of the clamp members to cause the clamp members to move in a first direction when the drive member is actuated in a first direction, and to cause the clamp members to move in a second direction when the drive member is actuated in a second direction; an actuator configured to actuate the drive member to selectively move in each of the first and second directions; and biometric identification module coupled to the actuator, and configured to activate the actuator to cause the selective movement upon identification of an authorized user. Each of the components are configured and positioned to minimize a height and a volume of the pill bottle cap.
STORAGE CONTAINER WITH INVENTORY CONTROL
Systems and methods of the invention relate to managing an inventory of items within a storage container. A storage container can house one or more items for distribution among one or more users such as, for instance, employees. The storage container discussed herein provides authentication of a user, tracking of the inventory each user removes or returns, video/image capture of user during access of the storage container, wireless tracking of items housed within the storage container, among others.
PERSONALIZED DRINKING CUP WITH FINGERPRINT READER
A personalized drinking cup assembly comprises a lid which includes a mouthpiece, and includes a fingerprint reader located thereon to enable the user to access and use the mouthpiece to drink from the cup. In some embodiments the cap comprises a top portion and a side wall extending perpendicularly therefrom, and the fingerprint reader is located on the side wall. In some embodiments, the cap further comprises a handle, on which the fingerprint reader is located. In use, the user utilizes the fingerprint reader in order to access the mouthpiece for drinking from the cup. Once the fingerprint reader is read and the user is identified as the owner or authorized user of the cup, the mouthpiece will be opened for consumption thereby.

Collapsible Container with Cover
A collapsible container includes: a container bottom; a container cap; a tubular member having a longitudinal axis and a cylindrical wall, the tubular member having an outer surface and an inner surface, the cylindrical wall having a wall thickness defined by the distance between the inner and outer surfaces, the cylindrical wall having first and second longitudinal zones of reduced thickness. The first and second longitudinal zones are substantially 180° apart such that the tubular member is collapsible along the first and second longitudinal zones to reduce the tubular member to a flattened state. The tubular member has a first end adapted to mate with the container bottom, and a second end adapted to selectably mate with the container cap. The container cap and container bottom are integrally formed with the tubular member and the container cap is configured to mate with the second end in a child-resistant manner.
