The invention relates to a lid (100) of a container, especially a beverage can, comprising a substantially flat lid surface (101) and a preferably folded edge area (102), as well as at least one pouring opening (103) provided on the lid surface (101), which can be closed in a gas- and/or liquid-tight manner by means of at least one closure element (120), with the closure element (120) being movable from a closed position into an open position by means of an actuating element (110), the actuating element (110) comprises a fixing element (111) and a sliding element (113), and the fixing element (111) is connected to at least one connecting element (115) via at least one predetermined breaking point before opening for the first time and the fixing element (111) has a handle (114) which, upon movement of the fixing element (111) from the closed position into the open position, acts on the at least one predetermined breaking point via at least one edge (114a).

Method, device and system for filling pharmaceutical containers

In one general aspect, a method for filling multiple containers with a pharmaceutical product is disclosed, which comprises decontaminating sealed nested materials in a transfer chamber, removing from the sealed nested materials one or both of a container nest holding the multiple containers and a closure nest holding multiple closures, transferring from the transfer chamber to a controlled environment enclosure the removed nest, aseptically filling the containers with the pharmaceutical product, and closing the containers with the multiple closures. The nests are configured to allow multiple closures and containers to be simultaneously aligned concentrically, and closed simultaneously. Spring-loaded retaining structures on the closure nest allow it to releasably retain multiple closures above the corresponding multiple containers. In some embodiments the spring-loaded features are monolithically integrated with the closure nest. The product may be lyophilized in partially sealed containers while the sealing closures are releasably retained by the closure nest.

Method, system, and apparatus for pharmaceutical container filing and lyophilizing

In one general aspect, a method is disclosed for processing a pharmaceutical substance in a pharmaceutical processing system that includes lyophilizing a plurality of containers provided in a nest. A first controlled environment enclosure in the pharmaceutical processing system is isolated against an external environment, and a controlled environmental condition is established in the first controlled environment enclosure. The pharmaceutical substance is deposited into at least a portion of the plurality of containers in the first container nest at a filling station within the first controlled environment enclosure. The deposited pharmaceutical substance is lyophilized in the first container nest.

Preparation of therapeutic foam

Vessel having sterile contents containing in predetermined proportions (i) a foamable liquid and (ii) a gas or gas mixture other than air. The contents are at a pressure above atmospheric pressure. The vessel has an outlet which is adapted to cooperate with a syringe nozzle and which has associated with it a breakable seal or a valve.

Closing a chamber of a container for a pharmaceutical product

A device (1) for closing a chamber of a container having an opening for accessing the chamber comprises a plunger, a plunger seat (11), a container carrier (13) and a spacer (12). The plunger seat (11) releasably holds the plunger in a predefined alignment. The container carrier (13) is arranged to be connected to the container in a predefined position and alignment in relation to the opening of the container. The spacer (12) is arranged to position and align the plunger seat (11) adjacent to and distant from the container carrier (13) such that the opening of the container is open when the container is connected to the container carrier (13).

A cap for coupling to a medical adapter may include a housing with a closed top end and an open bottom end with legs that extend from the housing away from the bottom end. Members may extend from an inner surface of the legs to engage and secure the cap to a medical adapter or an insert configured to mate with a medical adapter. A cap may include angular ridges between a cap housing and an insert to permit rotation of the cap in single direction and prevent removal of the cap from a medical adapter. A cap may include hinged legs to permit the cap to be secured to a medical adapter by rotating the legs toward each other until a portion of a collar on each leg may be matingly joined around the medical adapter.

A capsule for a can containing liquid includes a lower shell with first locking detent mechanism and first modular attachment threads, and an upper shell with second locking detent mechanism and second modular attachment threads. The second modular attachment threads are configured to engage the first modular attachment threads and the second locking detent mechanism is configured to interlock with the first locking detent mechanism only when the first modular attachment threads and the second modular attachment threads are fully engaged. The upper and the lower shell enclose the can when the first modular attachment threads and the second modular attachment threads are fully engaged. A shell gasket seals between the lower shell and the upper shell, a can gasket disposed within the upper shell seals between the upper shell and an upper surface of the enclosed can, a lid removably attaches to the upper shell, and a lid gasket seals between the lid and an upper surface of the enclosed can.

Closure with liner

A closure for a container is provided with a top portion and a skirt depending from an outer periphery of the top portion. A generally circular rim extends downwards from the lower surface of the top portion. A liner is attached to the closure between an outer surface of the rim and an inner surface of the skirt. The liner is configured to provide a fluid tight seal for containers having varied neck dimensions and/or profiles. One or more projections extend into a space formed between the lower surface of the top portion, an inner surface of the skirt, and an outer surface of the rim, with the liner enveloping and being supported in the closure by the one or more projections.

Beverage Can Cap
