A closure for containers providing a seal when closed. A pull tab lifted to open provides a venting action, and a pour opening. A sanitary platform covers a drinking area around the pour opening. Closure contains electronic device components triggered to engage a user in games of chance through the use of a cellular phone.
Conduit seal assembly
A conduit seal assembly includes an outer conduit having a first end with a first opening and a second end, opposite the first end, with a second opening. A first seal is positioned in the first opening for resisting a first temperature, and a second seal is positioned in the second opening for resisting a second temperature less than the first temperature. The first and second seals define a cavity and provide an air-tight seal of the cavity, and the assembly includes a monitoring assembly configured to sense a characteristic in the cavity.
Device for deterring abuse of drugs
A device for deterring drug abuse includes a housing configured to contain a drug accessible through an access port. The device includes a physical deterrent configured to move from an unsecured position, wherein the access port of the housing is normally accessible, to a secure position, wherein the access port of the housing is normally inaccessible. The device further includes a locking mechanism that is coupled with the physical deterrent. The locking mechanism has a locked mode, wherein the physical deterrent does not normally move from the secure position to the unsecured position. The locking mechanism is further coupled with a deterrent container having a deterrent substance. The device is configured such that attempts to access the drug when the physical deterrent is in the secure position, and when the locking mechanism is in the locked mode, activate the release of the deterrent substance to the drug.
CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR A MEDICAMENT CONTAINER, AND MEDICAMENT CONTAINER HAVING A CLOSURE SYSTEM
A closure system for a medicament container designed in the manner of a bottle mouth is intended to seal against unwanted and undesired material loss. The closure system comprises: a press-fit cap with an annular cover which has a central opening and at whose outer circumference latch elements are arranged which can be brought into engagement with an outer bead fitted peripherally on the container opening, and a closure stopper with a closure plate, on the first plate side of which there is integrally formed a thickened portion which completely fills the central opening of the annular cover and can be brought into latching engagement therewith, and on the second plate side of which there is integrally formed a radial sealing element having a cross section which is adapted to the clear width of the container opening and is slightly larger than the clear width of the container opening.
PLASTIC CLOSURE DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER FOR PARENTERAL PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS
A plastic closure device for a container for parenteral pharmaceutical products having a bottle provided with a neck is provided. The plastic closure device has an outer cap with tearable weakenings to allow tear-off removal of the outer cap and an inner cage provided with a head having a central opening. A skirt ending in a lower edge extends below the central opening. Retaining elements for permanent snap engagement on the neck of the bottle are provided at the lower edge. The outer cap is snap-engaged under the lower edge of the inner cage by coupling elements. The plastic closure device guarantees authenticity of the container and its tightness even in the event of tampering attempts.
CLOSURE SYSTEM AND KIT
A closure system for closing a container opening is disclosed that includes a stopper member, a cage member for mounting to a container, a cover member reversibly mountable to the cage member, and an integrity visualization member. The stopper member has a plug portion to fit into the container opening and a cover portion to abut a boundary surface of the container opening. The plug portion of the stopper member is fitted into the opening of the container and the cage member is mounted to the container. The cage member applies a force to the cover portion to push the cover portion onto the boundary surface of the container opening. The cover member covers an aperture of the cage member when mounted to the cage member. The integrity visualization member indicates an integrity of the closure system and is positioned between the cover portion and the cage member.
CLOSURE SYSTEM AND KIT
A closure system is disclosed for closing a container opening. The closure system includes a stopper member, a cage member for mounting to the container, and a spring member. The stopper member has a plug portion that tightly fits into the container opening and a cover portion that abuts a boundary surface adjacent to the container opening container. The stopper member plug portion is fitted into the container opening, the stopper member cover portion abuts the boundary surface of the container, and the cage member is mounted to the container to hold the stopper member, when the closure system is in an assembled state. The cage and spring members are arranged to position the spring member between the stopper member cover portion and the cage member such that the spring member pushes the cage member away from the cover portion when the closure system is in the assembled state.
Thermoplastic Elastomer Composition, Plug Body and Container
A thermoplastic elastomer composition including: 100 parts by mass of a hydrogenated block copolymer (a); from 10 to 50 parts by mass of a polypropylene resin (b); from 5 to 100 parts by mass of a polyphenylene ether resin (c); and from 75 to 200 parts by mass of a non-aromatic softener (d), wherein the hydrogenated block copolymer (a) contains a hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1) obtained by hydrogenation, the hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1) comprising at least one polymer block A1 including mainly a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon compound monomer unit, and at least one polymer block B1 including mainly a conjugated diene compound monomer unit, a weight-average molecular weight of the hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1) is from 100,000 to 550,000, and a content of all vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon compound monomer units in the hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1) is more than 20% by mass and 50% by mass or less.
BAG CONTAINING A REFERENCE FLUID
A sealed bag containing a reference fluid for the calibration and/or quality control of a creatine and/or creatinine sensor, the bag comprising: an inner polymer layer and an outer polymer layer; and an aluminium oxide gas barrier layer there between; and wherein the inner polymer layer is in contact with the reference fluid.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER CAP FOR USE WITH BEVERAGE EXTRACTOR
A cap for engagement with a beverage container allows an extractor needle or other conduit to pass through a portion of the cap such that beverage can be removed from the container without removing the cap. The cap may include a septum that is radially and/or axially compressed and a barrier layer arranged to engage with the container to form a seal.
