FLUID APPLICATION SYSTEM
A sprayer system includes a sprayer head, at least two reservoirs, and a gripping portion. The reservoirs hold constituent components of a product. The product is emitted from a nozzle included in the sprayer head. The emission of the product results in the depletion of the components of one of the reservoirs to a greater extent than the remaining at least one reservoir and changes the center of gravity of the sprayer system.
Fluid receiver fitting for aseptic fluid transfer and methods for making the same
A fluid receiver fitting (FRF) for supporting aseptic fluid transfer between enclosures, as well as methods for forming the fluid receiver, is disclosed. The FRF includes a unitized seal section (226) and channel section (228) formed together by 2-shot injection molding, thereby eliminating or minimizing modes of fluid contamination where the seal section and channel section are separate members. The channel section may comprise one or more channels (286) for insertion of a needle (N) therein and a respective penetration zone (266) in a corresponding section of the seal section for the needle to penetrate and thereby extract a fluid sample from a liquid stream against which a portion of the seal section is exposed. An angled interface (288) between each channel and its corresponding penetration zone provides a liquid stream pressure concentration zone which applies pressure to close a core (C) in the seal section formed by removal of the needle.
Beverage container cap for use with beverage extractor
A cap for engagement with a beverage container allows an extractor needle or other conduit to pass through a portion of the cap such that beverage can be removed from the container without removing the cap. The cap may include a septum that is radially and/or axially compressed and a barrier layer arranged to engage with the container to form a seal.
Container with silicone insert compartment and segregated storage region
A container assembly includes a container body enclosing a cavity, and first and second openings in the body that communicate with the cavity. A compartment is dimensioned for receipt through the first opening into the body cavity and partially fills the body cavity. The compartment housing is formed of a pliable, fluid sealable material open at a first end, and the housing receives a closure member also formed of a pliable, fluid sealable material to form a fluid-tight connection with the first end of the housing. The compartment includes an external shoulder dimensioned that limits further advancement of the compartment through the first opening and into the body cavity. A cap is dimensioned for receipt over the first opening of the body to selectively open and close access to the body cavity, and access to the compartment. A plug member is dimensioned for operative engagement with the second opening of the body for selectively opening and closing access to the body cavity.
HEART VALVE STORAGE AND SHIPPING PACKAGING
Packaging systems and methods for wet storage and/or shipping of prosthetic heart valve or other medical devices are disclosed.
ACRYLIC POLYMERS AND COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SUCH POLYMERS
A coating composition is provided that is preferably substantially free of bisphenol A. The coating composition is useful in coating metal substrates such as, for example, interior and/or exterior surfaces of food or beverage cans. In some embodiments, the coating composition is formulated using an acrylic polymer that is formed form ingredients that do not include styrene.
Liquid storage and delivery mechanisms and methods
A liquid storage and delivery mechanism and method of use are provided. The mechanism comprises shells that include corresponding reservoirs to hold individual quantities of liquid. The shells include filling ends and discharge ends. The filling ends include fill ports that open to the reservoirs in order to receive the corresponding quantity of liquid. The discharge ends are covered with closure lids to seal bottoms of the corresponding reservoirs. A shell management module is provided comprising a cover and a platform. The platform includes shell retention chambers to receive corresponding shells. The shell retention chambers are arranged in a predetermined pattern on the platform. The shell retention chambers are to orient shells with the fill ports exposed from the platform. The cover is mounted onto the platform to close the fill ports. The shells are to move individually, along the shell retention chambers, between non-actuated and actuated positions.
One-piece safety tube closure with film element
A closure having enhanced oxygen barrier capabilities includes a cap body formed from a first material, the cap body defining a cavity therethrough, a stopper formed from a second material, the second material being different than the first material and disposed within the cavity, and a barrier layer formed from a third material, the third material being different than at least the second material and associated with at least one of the cap body and the stopper. A container assembly including a closure and a method of forming the closure is also provided.
CAP MANIPULATOR AND CAP ASSEMBLY
A cap manipulator and a cap assembly are provided. The cap manipulator includes a first airbag member, a second airbag member, and an airstream channel structure therebetween and enabling inner spaces of the first airbag member and the second airbag member to be communicated. If the second airbag member is squeezed, a volume of the first airbag member is greater than that of the insertion space, and if the second airbag member is not squeezed, the volume of the first airbag member is smaller than or equal to that of the insertion space.
CONTAINER
A container, consisting of an at least partially filled container body, and of at least one cap part (10), which has at least one sealing part (16) which, for removal of the container contents, can be penetrated by a hollow-spike-like insertion part (22) from the outside, with a predeterminable actuating force, in an introduction direction, it being possible for said insertion part to be removed from the container again, with a predeterminable pull-out force, in an oppositely directed pull-out direction, is characterized by the presence of a device (16, 18) which makes it difficult for the insertion part (22) to be removed and by means of which the pull-out force is increased such that unintentional removal of the insertion part (22) is at least made difficult.
