Parenteral vial cap
A parenteral vial, stopper and cap assembly comprises a vial having a body defining an interior, and an opening leading to the interior. The assembly further comprises a stopper configured to sealingly engage the opening, a cap configured to cover the opening and the stopper. The stopper and the cap fit together to form an integral unit configured to cap the vial. The cap moves with respect to the vial between a partially engaged position that permits gas flow out from the vial interior, and a fully engaged position in which the stopper sealingly engages the opening.
ADAPTER ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHMENT TO A BOTTLE
Various embodiments of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for testing samples (e.g., biological samples, environmental samples, food samples etc.) for microbial contamination. For example, some embodiments describe an adapter assembly with a means to penetrate a septum of a collection vessel and permit gaseous communication between a headspace of the collection vessel and a sensor. In some embodiments, the gases in the headspace of the collection vessel can exit the collection vessel without contaminating the environment outside the system or allowing sample contamination. In some embodiments, the adapter assembly includes a membrane configured to prevent liquid in the collection vessel from contacting the sensor. In some embodiments, the adapter assembly can be used to access media inside the collection vessel for subculturing or aliquotting for another diagnostic process such as molecular diagnostics.

RESEALABLE COVER FOR CONTAINERS
A resealable cover for a beverage container that holds a carbonated beverage. The cover includes a base engageable with a rim of the container and a lid movable between an open and closed position relative to the base. When in the closed position, a passageway is defined between a portion of the lid and a portion of the base. The passageway permits fluid communication between air surrounding an exterior surface of the cover and a space defined between the lid and an opening in the container. Pressure that builds up under the lid from gas escaping from the liquid may be relieved by outgassing through the passageway. The cover includes latches on the base that engage in notches on the lid to help lock the lid in place. The lid is rotated relative to the base to release the latches and permit the lid to be opened.
PLASTIC COVER FOR CANS WITH OPENER FOR OPENING AND RE-CLOSURE
A plastic cover for cans with opener for opening and re-closing manufactured of low density polyethylene consists of a cylindrical cover designed with trapezoid opening with movable opener of analogues shape which sides are spreading symmetrically toward the rim and from the edge of the cover lowers down forming the grip portion. On the opener firmly and un-separable connected to the cover on the inner side is designed the ellipsoid recess analogous to the opening of the cover. The opener abuts to the recess on the wall of the cover while the recess seals the opening and when it is closed it disables the leaking and keeping freshness and soda. On the inner side of the cover are designed concentric barriers preventing the leaking of the drink into the dirtiest channel on the can and crescent barriers preventing spreading of the liquid over the can surface.
DEVICE WITH CO-MOLDED CLOSURE, ONE-WAY VALVE AND VARIABLE-VOLUME STORAGE CHAMBER, AND RELATED METHOD
A device includes a first part having a co-molded first support, valve cover and elastic actuator, and a second part having an injection molded second support, valve seat, and variable-volume storage chamber pre-form. The pre-form is blow molded into a flexible pouch defining the variable-volume storage chamber. The one-way valve includes a semi-annular, curvilinear, relatively rigid valve seat defining axially-extending, opposing first marginal portions, and an axially-extending first mid-portion angularly extending between the opposing first marginal portions. A flexible valve member is superimposed on the valve seat and defines axially-extending, opposing second marginal portions fixedly secured on or adjacent to respective first marginal portions of the valve seat, and an axially-extending second mid-portion angularly extending between the opposing first marginal portions and superimposed onto the first mid-portion of the valve seat. The flexible valve cover and valve seat form a normally closed axially and angularly extending valve seam therebetween.
Frozen Storage Container and Frozen Storage Container System
There is provided means with which, during frozen storage of a biological sample or a drug, the biological sample or drug stored inside a frozen storage container is not susceptible to contamination.
A frozen storage container 10 includes a container body 11 with an internal space 13, and a partition wall 12 which divides the internal space 13 of the container body 11 at least into a first space 14 and a second space 15. In the container body 11, the first space 14 is liquid-tightly sealed, the second space 15 has an opening 22 which is in communication with the outside, and the second space 15 is liquid-tightly sealable by welding the container body 11. A frozen storage container system 40 includes the frozen storage container 10; and a needle member 41 which includes a needle tip portion 42 capable of being inserted into the internal space 13 of the container body 11 and capable of piercing the partition wall 12, and has a flow path which is opened at the needle tip portion 42 and is opened at a base end portion 43 opposite to the needle tip portion 42.
SCORED LOCKING CAP FOR NECK CONTAINER
A locking cap for a container comprising a neck comprises: an outer body, defined by an upper face and a cylindrical wall, and including a breakable strip extending from the upper face to a free end of the cylindrical wall, a capsule, arranged on the upper face and rigidly connected to the breakable strip, a cage, locked in the outer body, having a generally cylindrical shape, and comprising a plurality of bridges connecting neighboring branches, and a flexible member, one end of which is rigidly connected to a bridge and another free end of which is oriented upward, the flexible member being adjacent to a weak point of the bridge. The flexible member of the cage is rigidly connected to the breakable strip of the outer body.
LIQUID-CONTAINING COMBINATION CONTAINER, CONTAINER SET, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIQUID-CONTAINING CONTAINER, AND USE OF LIQUID-CONTAINING COMBINATION CONTAINER
A liquid-containing combination container includes a first container that contains a liquid and that has oxygen permeability, a second container that contains the first container and that has an oxygen barrier property, and an oxygen absorber that absorbs oxygen in the second container. Pressure in the first container is 1 atm or less.
CAP FOR A FLUID CONTAINER, FLUID CONTAINER COMPRISING SUCH CAP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH CAP
A cap for a fluid container includes: (i) a body, (ii) a first port, and (iii) a second port. The first port includes a first port housing with a first opening and an elastic first seal member accommodated in the first port housing and sealing the first opening. The second port includes a second port housing with a second opening and an elastic second seal member accommodated in the second port housing and sealing the second opening. The first seal member is formed as a pierceable septum. The outer surface of the first seal member is flush with an edge surface of the first opening. The second seal member includes a valve opening configured to provide a fluid-tight connection with a fluid manipulation device.
