An apparatus for collecting and storing fluid samples from vehicles and machinery comprises a storage container having a fluid inlet sealed by a cap, the cap having an aperture releasably sealed by a lid. An adapter connects the cap releasably to a fluid outlet coupling port of a fluid sampling device. The adapter comprises a lumen, having an inlet and an outlet aperture, an external screw thread engageable with an internal screw thread of the coupling port and a connector assembly for connecting the adapter releasably to the cap. A penetrable diaphragm provides an airtight seal over a storage region of the storage container. When the adapter is connected to the coupling port and the cap is connected to the adapter, a fluid outlet tube extending from the coupling port extends through the aperture and protrudes through one or more perforations provided in the penetrable diaphragm into the storage region.

Provided is a rubber stopper including a canopy portion having an upper surface and a lower surface, and a leg portion provided on the lower surface of the canopy portion, in which the leg portion has a tapered base portion at the center on a lower surface side of the canopy portion, and a curvature radius R1 of the tapered base portion is 2 mm or more and 4 mm or less.

A thermally insulated container comprising: a frusto-conical support base internally comprising a heat source with connection to an external electrical source, a flat support base, an elongated main body of circular section with thermally insulated walls with connectors arranged at the base of said body to electrically link a shielded electrical resistance; a plug with a shutter that acts as a closure of the main body mounted in the mouth of said body by means of a thread and comprising a safety pressure element. The thermally insulated container is particularly adequate for heating water to two temperature settings to be used to prepare mate beverage or to prepare other infusions. In a first embodiment the container holds 500cc of water and in another embodiment it holds one liter of water.

A locking cover for a container having a neck comprising: a cage made from plastic; a body made from plastic, which is fastened around the cage, the body comprising a central orifice; a cap configured to close the central orifice, the cap comprising a flat head to cover the orifice and fastening lugs caught between the cage and the body. Each fastening lug has a breakable zone, and the cap is made from a plastic material, different from the plastic material of the cage and from the plastic material of the body, the plastic material of the cap being chosen to have a resistance to rupture reduced by a dose of gamma irradiation for sterilizing the locking cover.

A cap assembly for use with multiple bottles having different size necks is provided. The assembly includes a base, at least one adapter and a lid. The base includes a compartment for storing the adapter and an opening having at least two internally threaded sections of different size and a port. The adapter includes an internally threaded opening having at least two sections of different size and an externally threaded surface having at least two sections of different size. The lid is mounted on the base for movement between a position wherein the base opening port is closed and a position wherein the base opening port is open. Additional adapters may be included. The additional adapters are configured to accept bottle necks of different sizes than the base opening and first adapter such that at least six bottles with different size necks can be used with the assembly.

A dispensing cap for a container includes a body portion and an integrally formed chamber for holding an additive substance. An inner wall integrally formed with the body portion defines the chamber whose open end is sealed by a chamber closure member. The chamber closure member being configured for cooperating with the inner wall and seal the chamber, wherein the body portion, the closed top end, the plunger, and the inner wall are integrally formed.

A safety sealed bottle stopper in the form of a one-piece unitized fusion over-molded injection molded component comprising an exterior housing having multiple sealing fins forming an internal liquid leakproof engagement with the interior bottle neck of a liquid medication bottle container and having an upper entrance port and a lower fluid flow path with a valve positioned between the lower fluid communication path and the upper entrance port. The upper entrance port is configured to form a liquid tight engagement fit only with an oral/enteric tip syringe and not with an I.V. (intravenous) luer slip tip syringe to indicate to the user that the stopper is only to be used with an oral/enteric syringe and not an I.V. luer slip tip syringe as a safety feature which is especially useful when the stopper is used as part of an infant's or child's liquid medication bottle container.
