A bottle cap that is an apparatus for containing heterogeneous materials, applied in the discharge direction of materials in a container, comprises: a main body coupled to a bottle neck; and a containing unit assembled inside the main body with a storage space. An activated unit is assembled in the center of the upper support unit of the main body. An activation unit for downward movement is coupled to the activated unit so that the activated unit may move downward by a separate activation unit. An opening/closing unit is coupled with the lower part of the activated unit with the above structure in order to seal an opening/closing hole of the storage space.

Closure cap for receptacles for receiving medical liquids and receptacle for receiving medical liquids

The invention relates to a closure cap (1) for receptacles for receiving medical liquids, in particular receptacles filled with infusion solutions, transfusion solutions or liquids for enteral nutrition. The invention further relates to a receptacle (40) for receiving medical liquids, in particular a bottle, comprising such a closure cap. The closure cap (1) according to the invention is characterized by two injection parts (6 and 7) arranged separately from one another, each for injecting an additive. One injection part (6) serves to inject an additive with an injection syringe that has a needle (cannula), while the other injection part (7) serves to inject an additive with a needle-less injection syringe.

Peelable and resealable packaging

A resealable package includes a bottom portion defining an interior and including a sealing surface extending about a top of the interior; a film coupled to the bottom portion along at least a portion of the sealing surface and including a tab portion extending inward from one side of the top film; and a seal disposed between the film and the bottom portion and including at least first and second sides that intersect and form a seal portion tip. The seal seals the film to the bottom portion such that the film is configured to be resealably peeled away from the bottom portion along at least a portion of the seal area upon application of a force to the seal tip portion via the tab portion.

The invention provides liner resin compositions which are essentially free of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVA) copolymer and molded plastic closures which include the described liner resin compositions. Instead of EVA copolymers, the provided liner resin compositions generally include low density polyethylene (LDPE). Accordingly, in one embodiment, the invention provides a liner resin composition comprising: a) LDPE; b) metallocene-catalyzed very low density polyethylene; c) a random copolymer; and d) a lubricant; wherein said liner composition is essentially free of EVA copolymer.

Scavenging oxygen

A closure 40 for a container body includes a liner 46 which incorporates a hydrogen generating device comprising a hydride which generates hydrogen on contact with moisture. The liner may be an interference fit within the body 42. The liner 46 and other liners described may include control means for controlling passage of moisture to the hydrogen generating means and/or sealing means for sealing the closure to a container. In use, with the closure secured to a container, water vapor passes into liner 46 and contacts the hydride which generates hydrogen. A reaction between hydrogen and oxygen which has passed into the container takes place, catalysed by a catalyst, and water is produced. Thus, oxygen is scavenged.
