A lid, a disposable cup with the lid, and a blending machine for use with the lid and cup which is particularly well-suited for use in a self-service blending environment where material is initially provided in unblended form in the disposable cup, is blended in the disposable cup, and the disposable cup is used by the end user during consumption of the material. The lid is designed to allow for a blade assembly of the blending machine to pass through the lid and into the cup without it having to be removed.

PIERCEABLE CAP

A method for penetrating a pierceable cap (11) on a vessel (21). The pierceable cap (11) prevents escape of sample specimens from the vessel (21) before transfer with a transfer device (43). The pierceable cap (11) may fit over a vessel (21). An access port in the shell of the pierceable cap (11) may allow passage of a transfer device (43) through the pierceable cap (11). At least one frangible layer (215, 216) may be configured with cross slits (506) in a particular cross slit geometry. The cross slits (506) may contain an openable portion (644) or be covered by a thin membrane (645). The shell (610) and frangible layer(s) (215, 216) may be integrated into a one piece cap (601), or be separate components (634). The membrane on which the cross slits 506 are placed can be flat or contoured to guide the transfer device (43) to the cross slits (506). The flat surfaces are supported by rib structures (620, 621) that extend radially inward and downward into the vessel (21).

Closure system for a medicament, and medicament container comprising a closure system

A closure system (10) for a medication container (1), the interior (4) of which is accessible via a mouth region (6) designed in the manner of a bottle mouth, wherein the closure system (10) comprises, in addition to a bounce cap (28) which can be pushed onto the mouth region (6) and is provided with a sealing element (24), a locking ring (60) which, in a position pushed completely onto the bounce cap (28), can be pushed onto the bounce cap (28), can be fixed to the bounce cap (28) in a latchable manner by means of a number of snap ribs (62), is intended to be particularly suitable for automated filling operations by simple means. For this purpose, according to the invention, the or each snap rib (62) is guided in a corresponding guiding groove (82) during a movement of the inner lateral surface (84) of the retaining ring (60) relative to an outer lateral surface (80) of the bounce cap (28) corresponding to the latter.

STOWAGE CRADLE SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING GUN STOWAGE OF A CARTRIDGE CLOSURE AND DISPENSING GUN THEREWITH
20260124638 · 2026-05-07 ·

A stowage cradle system incorporated into a dispensing gun for extruding a work material from a cartridge is provided for stowage of a work material cartridge closure therein. The stowage cradle system includes at least one engagement member disposed in an interior space of one of the handle or the trigger of the dispensing gun to define a stowage space for the work material cartridge closure. The engagement member has a pair of laterally spaced arms extending longitudinally from an arcuate wall disposed therebetween. A retention opening is defined between the pair of arms and the arcuate wall. End portions of each of the arms have a projecting portion extending into the retention opening to reduce the opening dimension therebetween. By that arrangement, the work material cartridge closure is releasably frictionally retained within the retention opening by the projecting portions of the pair of arms of the engagement member.

A system includes a cap for a medical fluid container and an attachment part. The cap includes at least one first port. The first port includes a septum and a connection structure. The attachment part includes a hollow spike and a joining structure in fluid communication with the hollow spike. The joining structure is configured for connecting the device for withdrawing fluid from the fluid container and/or for supplying fluid into the fluid container. The connection structure is configured to be connected to a complementary connection structure of the attachment part in a releasable or non-releasable manner such that the hollow spike of the attachment part pierces the septum.
