SYSTEM FOR HANDLING SEPARATION LAYERS IN A PRODUCTION PROCESS
A system for handling separation layers in a production process includes at least one separation layer and a handling apparatus. The handling apparatus is preferably a vacuum gripper and is provided to move the separation layer. The separation layer has at least one slot which facilitates bending of the separation layer during lifting of the layer by the handling apparatus, such bending releasing the separation layer being lifted from another separation layer located in a stack of separation layers beneath the lifted layer.
Shipping System for Shipping Glass Sheets
A shipping system for shipping planar substrates includes a plurality of planar substrates stacked to form a pack and a plurality of interleaving material including substantially spherical beads positioned between the substrates of the pack and configured to carry a load. Substantially all of the beads have a diameter within 25% of D.sub.max, where D.sub.max is a diameter corresponding to a size of an opening of an upper limit sieve used in the shipping system. Also disclosed are a spacer for use in a shipping system for shipping planar substrates, a wrapped system for shipping planar substrates, a method of wrapping a system for shipping planar substrates, and a powder applicator.

Package for eggs
The invention pertains to an egg package comprising: a bottom part (4) formed by suction molding of a fibrous material, the bottom part (4) comprising a rear side (28), a front side (30), two end sides (32), and a plurality of egg-receiving compartments (34) having non-planar side surfaces (35) so as to match at least partially the outer contours of an egg, the plurality of compartments (34) being arranged in at least two parallel rows with upwardly extending projections (36) located between the rows of compartments (34), a cover part (6) comprising two substantially planar end surfaces (10), substantially planar rear (48) and front surfaces (12), and a substantially planar top surface (14), said cover part (6) being formed by cardboard and connected to the bottom part (4) via an elongated flap (40) extending from the rear side (28) of the bottom part (4), said elongated flap (40) being provided with a weakening in the transition between said elongated flap (40) and rear side (28) of the bottom part (4), said weakening forming a hinge (50) so as to allow the cover part (6) to move between an open position and a closed position, said elongated flap (40) at least in part overlapping the inner side (42) of said rear surface (48) of the cover part (6), said bottom part (4) comprising a retainment flap (44) hinged to the front side (30) of the bottom part (4), said retainment flap (44) comprising at least one outwardly extending retainment projection (26) for locking engagement with one or more co-operating apertures (46) in the front surface (12) of the cover part (6), said cover part (6) further comprising a substantially flat display surface (16) formed in the region between the top surface (14) and front surface (12) of the cover part (6), said substantially flat display surface (16) meeting the top surface (14) at a first obtuse angle, thereby forming a first edge (18), and said substantially flat display surface (16) meeting the front surface (12) at a second obtuse angle, thereby forming a second edge (20). The invention also pertains to a kit of parts comprising a bottom part for an egg package and a blank of cardboard material comprising preformed cutting and folding lines, the blank being configured such that, when cut and folded along said cutting and folding lines, it forms a cover for said bottom part.
Fluid dispensing bottle
A bottle, including a bottle body having a bottom aperture through a bottom end thereof and a top aperture through a top end thereof opposite the bottom end; a top valve assembly that extends through the top end of the bottle body and allows for selectable dispensing of fluid disposed within the bottle body out therethrough; a flexibly invertible dish coupled about the bottom aperture, wherein in a stored mode the dish is coupled about an outer surface of the bottle body and in a deployed mode the dish is inverted with respect to itself in the stored mode and extends outwardly from the bottom end of the bottle body forming a concave surface within which fluid may be disposed; and a bottom valve assembly that may extend through the bottom end of the bottle body and allows for selectable dispensing of fluid disposed within the bottle body out therethrough.
Dividable packaging structure
The present invention provides a dividable packaging structure, which includes: a plurality of first and second side frame members (2, 4) and a plurality of corner connection pieces (6) respectively connected to the first and second side frame members (2, 4). The plurality of corner connection pieces (6) connects the first side frame members (2) and the second side frame members (4) together to form a frame. The dividable packaging structure of the present invention has a dividable and thus splittable configuration, allowing for effective reduction of material cost. To package an object, the frame carries and supports the objet and the corner connection pieces provide positioning of the object to effectively prevent the object from shifting during shipment that may lead to occurrence of deformation of the objet.
Collapsible Rolling Tree Bag Article With Internal Support Panels
A collapsible rolling tree bag article with internal support panels comprises a flexible bag comprising an expanded volume to accommodate a faux Christmas tree within, wherein, the flexible bag may further comprise a contoured shape to accommodate the outline perimeter shape of the faux Christmas tree. The article may also comprise various handles to manipulate the article; and at least one of wheels/rollers to facilitate moving the article. The article further comprises internal support panels that fold/retract to allow the entire article to fold into a compact form for storage, packaging, marketing, distributing, shipping, and the like. Such panels may include various side panels, bottom panels, and other support panels. The article may also comprise various internal and/or external pockets, sleeves, compartments and the like to store ancillary faux Christmas tree items.
Packages and methods of packaging glass sheets
Packages and methods of packaging a plurality of glass sheets provide a stack of glass sheets with an interleaf protective sheet positioned between each adjacent pair of glass sheets. An outer portion of each interleaf protective sheet is bent over a portion of the peripheral edge of one of a corresponding adjacent pair of glass sheets to discourage relative shifting of the glass sheets with respect to one another. The stack of glass sheets are sandwiched between pressure members of an outer housing such that the pressure members each apply a support pressure that is distributed over an outer surface of a corresponding one of the pair of outermost glass sheets of the stack of glass sheets.
