Packaging tie
A tie well-suited for use in retail packaging applications includes a plastic head insert molded around one end of a paper-based cord, such as a length of twine, string or other similar environmentally-friendly material. In one embodiment, the plastic head includes a generally rectangular buckle shaped to define an elongated channel dimensioned to receive the free end of the paper-based cord. A deflectable pawl is coupled to the buckle and is naturally biased to project into the channel and selectively engage the cord in order to retain the tie in a closed loop configuration. The buckle includes a substantially open side wall through which the paper-based cord can be extracted after the tie is formed in its closed loop configuration. A clip is preferably provided on the head for selectively retaining a section of the paper-cord that has been inserted through the elongated channel.

SHINGLE WITH REINFORCEMENT MEMBER
A roofing shingle includes an asphalt-coated sheet and a reinforcement member. The asphalt-coated sheet includes a shingle mat and an asphalt coating applied to the shingle mat. The asphalt-coated sheet has a lower tab portion normally exposed on a roof and an upper headlap portion normally covered-up on a roof. At least a portion of the asphalt-coated sheet is coated with granules. The reinforcement member is adhered to the asphalt-coated sheet along an upper edge of the headlap portion, with the reinforcement member and the headlap portion together providing a nail pull-through value that is greater than an otherwise identical shingle having no such reinforcement material.
Custom procedure kit
A custom procedure kit is provided, which comprises a plurality of medical-procedure tools and a cover that is wrapped around the plurality of medical-procedure tools to form wrapped tools. An outer container is fully disposed about the wrapped tools, and at least one sheet is disposed between the outer container and the wrapped tools. The sheet includes a listing of the plurality of medical-procedure tools and, for at least some of the medical-procedure tools, an unselected end-user selectable field.
BOTTLE HOUSING
A bottle housing, bottle housing structure and system for use is disclosed. The bottle housing includes a first member having a top, a first end, and a second end. The bottle housing also includes a second member having a top, a first end, and a second end. The second member is coupled to the first member along respective first ends. The first member and the second member are transitionable between an open position and a closed position. The first member and the second member define a housing cavity when in the closed position. The first member and the second member are configured to house a bottle body in the housing cavity. Respective tops of the first member and the second member are configured to surround a portion of a bottle neck when in the closed position. The bottle housing is configured to receive at least one component therein.

Packets with integral connector
A packet includes a cavity containing flowable material and a sealed perimeter portion that defines the cavity. The sealed perimeter portion includes a header portion and a connector tab. An aperture is established through the header portion. The connector tab includes a neck portion and a retaining portion, which has a wider cross dimension than the neck portion. The retaining portion, when inserted through an aperture of a product or another packet, limits retraction from the aperture to join the packet with the product or other packet. A display system includes a plurality of such packets, whereby the retaining portion of a first packet may be collapsed and inserted through an aperture of a second packet, whereby the retaining portion, when expanded to its initial state, limits retraction from the aperture of the second packet to join the first and second packets together.

Variable speed heat air gun and cooperating kit
A kit for supporting and multi-directionally aiming a heat source. The kit includes a heat air gun, a tripod, and an extension arm. At least one of the tripod and the extension arm support the heat air gun so as to allow the heat air gun to be supported while having multi-directional aiming.
