Apparatus for securing loads
The invention to which this application relates to improvements to a retaining band which can be used to securely locate, form and retain a load of items or goods, in one embodiment on a pallet, and thereby retain the said items or goods as a single integral package. The invention allows for the adaptation of the retaining bands to be detectable when with a predetermined range of detection apparatus such as X-ray and/or metal detection apparatus so that should the retaining band or fragments thereof be discarded or dislodged, the presence of the same is detectable and therefore prevented from becoming a potential contaminant or safety hazard.
Moving system for cores and tubes
A system for moving and transporting cargo, such as bundled cores and tubes, that doesn't require wheeled carts. The system may comprise a forklift truck, a front engagement device connecting the cargo to the forklift truck, a rear roller unit, and one or more spaced apart bottom supports. When the forklift forks are in the raised position, the cargo front (leading) end is tilted above the cargo rear (trailing) end and the bottom supports are disengaged from the floor, allowing the cargo to be moved.
Systems and methods for HDSS roll packaging
A skid assembly including a skid having a stacking surface and four gum rolls is provided. The gum rolls include a first gum roll positioned on the stacking surface and a second gum roll positioned on the stacking surface and abutting the first gum roll. The first and second gum rolls cooperate to define a first skid layer. The gum rolls further include third and fourth gum rolls each positioned on one of the first or second gum rolls. The fourth gum roll abuts the third gum roll, and the third and fourth gum rolls both cooperate to form a second skid layer. The gum rolls are formed of a strip stock wound onto a core fixture. The strip stock is coated to prevent the strip stock from adhering to itself while being wound into the gum roll.
CONTAINER CARRIER WITH FLEXIBLE FLANGE
A container carrier and manufacturing method for a container carrier are provided. The container carrier includes an integrally molded body with a plurality of annular structures connected by a bridges. The annular structures each include a side wall formed of side wall portions separated by side wall voids and a top surface. Flanges are positioned at the bottom of each side wall void to collectively engage the containers. The flanges are configured to project inwardly and orient upwardly at an angle so as to flex when accepting or releasing a container. The top surfaces of the annular structures include notched voids continuous with respective side wall voids such that the flanges positioned at the bottoms of the side wall voids are accommodated by the notched voids in the top surface of a second, same-shaped container carrier when stacked.

HEAT TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR WAREHOUSED GOODS
Systems and methods for airflow management around palletized cases of goods in a warehouse storage facility are provided, in which airflow around each individual layer of cases is facilitated while airflow spillage around the sides, top or bottom of pallet assemblies is minimized or eliminated. One exemplary device for such airflow management includes palletized product spacers disposed between respective layers of vertically stacked cases, in which the product spacers facilitate a substantially unidirectional longitudinal airflow. Another exemplary airflow management device is a series of automatically adjustable air dams disposed at the tops of respective pallet assemblies which prevent air spillage and establish intermediate air manifold spaces. Yet another device is a lateral pallet spacer prevents direct abutment of the side surfaces of neighboring pallet assemblies and thereby ensures that the air manifold spaces are in fluid communication with the spacers of multiple pallet assemblies.
Predilution sets for distributing antigens
A method for delivering allergens to a pharmacist in a pre-diluted kit form, comprising providing a bulk container of base concentrate antigen containing at least one antigen at a predetermined concentrated level, creating a sequential and more diluted sequence of antigens, providing a plurality of end-use sealable containers that can receive a finite end amount of diluted antigens, dispensing from each of sequential bulk containers a finite end amount of diluted antigens into one of the plurality of end-use sealable containers, wherein the end-use seal containers filled from each of the sequential bulk containers comprises a group of end-use sealable containers associated with each of the sequential bulk containers, sealing each of the end-use containers after diluted antigens are disposed therein, and disposing a select number of the sealed end-use sealable containers from each of the groups of end-use sealable containers into a container comprising a kit.
Covering and method of using the same
A method of preparing goods for transport is disclosed. A covering for the goods is provided that includes a wrap portion removably carried by a storage rack and a cap portion removably attached to the wrap portion, wherein the cap portion includes an attachment member. A force transmission member is secured to the attachment member of the cap portion and the cap portion is removed from the wrap portion. The force transmission member is moved to position the cap portion atop the goods. The wrap portion is removed from the storage rack, wrapped about the goods, and secured to the cap portion.
Tray system for display, storage and transportation of bottles
A tray system includes a first tray having a plurality of stacking units. In one embodiment, each stacking unit forms a lower receptacle for receiving a neck portion of a first bottle, and an upper receptacle for receiving a base portion of a second bottle to be stacked above the first bottle. The lower receptacle has a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a sidewall connecting the first end with the second end. The first end forms an opening for receiving a neck of a first bottle into the lower receptacle. The sidewall has a taper that prevents racking. The tray system may also include a second tray and a pallet.
Apparatus and method
A pallet comprising: a plurality of container seats wherein each seat is adapted to carry a fluid container; a data obtainer arranged to obtain container data from a data provider carried by a fluid container to be carried; a processor coupled to the data obtainer and configured to provide a signal based on the container data.
