Secondary packaging comprising multiple primary packaging sizes
The invention relates to a composite package (8) linked together into a single unit, and comprising a plurality of individual containers (1, 2, and 3) of varying shapes and/or volumes and being assembled according to different orientations in the composite package. In the composite package are defined strong and weak containers according to their mechanical resistances on which apply external loads. According to the invention, the strong containers are arranged in their orientation along the direction(s) of external loads placed upon the composite package thereby protecting the weakest ones.

Hot-melt adhesive and use thereof
Use of a hot-melt adhesive for adhesive bonding of at least a first packaging and a second packaging, the hot-melt adhesive comprising: (a) 50-85 parts per weight of a basis polymer, wherein the basis polymer is consisting of a metallocene catalyzed polyolefin polymer, preferably ethene-1-octene-copolymer; (b) 10-25 parts per weight of a modifying polymer, the modifying polymer comprising a styrene block copolymer; (c) 5-25 parts per weight of a reinforcing wax, preferably a polyethylene wax or a wax produced by the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis route, the wax component preferably comprising paraffinic oil, naphthenic oil, polybutene, dibasic ester, polyol or mixtures thereof; and (d) 0.05-1.5 parts per weight of a stabilizer component comprising a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant and/or a hindered amine light stabilizer and a pack comprising the hot-melt adhesive.
Storage case
A storage case has a rectangular base, side walls and front and rear walls upstanding from the base, and a top wall. The front wall has a lower half fixed to the base and side walls, and an upper half hinged by a hinge arrangement to the lower half. The upper half forms a door allowing access to the interior of the case. The top wall is integral with the upper half of the front wall. A drawer unit is in the door. The drawer unit has a compartment formed by the top wall, the front wall, a wall parallel to the top wall and compartment side walls.
Tool for wrapping paper and kit for containing same
A tool for use with wrapping paper comprises a unitary, plastic stick and a length of at least 18 inches. The stick extends linearly and has serrations defined in the plastic stick on a first side and has a non-serrated second side, opposite the first side, separated by a width. The serrations are adjacent a bracing surface and are parallel to the wrapping paper when the bracing surface is disposed on top of the wrapping paper. In particular embodiments, a non-skid feature can be added to the bracing surface, as well as a lip to self-orient the tool relative to the edge of wrapping paper. The tool can be provided within the hollow central core of a roll of wrapping paper, and enclosed therein by a clear plastic wrap. A product resulting from a 3D printing process is also described.
Convertible food and beverage placemat and carrier
A convertible placemat and carrier having a generally planar flexible sheet with a center portion for supporting an object, preferably food and beverage products. The carrier also includes a plurality of spaced-apart slits arranged in a plurality of concentric rings extending radially outward from the center portion of the sheet. The remaining portion of the sheet between the slits is interconnected to form a lattice structure. The sheet is moveable from a flat planar configuration to an expanded configuration in the form of a carrier. An object is held in the center of the sheet and handle portions are moveable upwardly away from the center portion and the sheet expands via the lattice structure to form a carrier for holding the object placed in the center portion.
Stretch wrapping machine with automatic load profiling
A method, apparatus and program product perform automatic load profiling to optimize a wrapping operation performed with a stretch wrapping machine. Automatic load profiling may be performed, for example, to determine a density parameter for a load that is indicative of load stability such that one or more control parameters may be configured for a wrapping operation based upon the density parameter. Automatic load profiling may also be performed, for example, to detect a load with a nonstandard top layer, e.g., a load with a top or slip sheet, a load with an easily deformable top layer, a load with a ragged top surface topography and/or a load with an inboard portion, such that a top layer containment operation may be activated during wrapping to optimize containment for the load.
Structural system for load stabilization frame and method for assembling the same
The present disclosure relates to a top frame-type structural system for load fixing. The system can be used together with pallets that can support a product/merchandise or goods, which are supported, stowed and/or palletized, and subsequently fastened/fixed by a rope, tape and/or strap. In particular, the top frame of the present system is configured to mechanically interact with the strap and efficiently distribute the generated stresses derived from the force tension to which it is subjected to ensure the integrity and bracing of the product. The present system includes a set of structural components, manufactured in a modular manner, which can be assembled and disassembled/taken to pieces, which offers a practical product, easy to handle and transport, and specifically, being manufactured in a modular manner, such that the present structural system can be advantageously transported, packaged using less space, thus improving its logistics and handling.
BUNDLE OF CONTAINERS
A bundle of containers for consumer goods is provided, the bundle including: a group of containers for consumer goods, each container including a first container wall, a housing for consumer goods, and an outer wrapper wrapped around the housing, the group of containers being arranged such that the first container walls collectively form a first face of the bundle; and a strip extending across at least the first face of the bundle and being affixed to each of the first container walls to secure the group of containers together, the strip including interconnected lines of weakness each extending across the first face of the bundle, the interconnected lines being arranged such that each container is separable from the group by tearing the strip along one or more respective lines of weakness, and the outer wrapper of each container and the strip including a polymeric film.
COLLATION OF PACKAGES AND METHOD OF RETAINING PACKAGES TOGETHER IN A COLLATION
A collation of packages, each package of the collation being cuboid-shaped and including a pair of opposing first faces, a pair of opposing second faces and an end face; wherein the packages are arranged in rows such that a second face of a package faces a second face of an adjacent package within the same row, and a first face of a package in a row faces a first face of a package in an adjacent row, a second face of a package at the ends of each row, a first face of each package in a row, and each end face being exposed; wherein the exposed end faces of the packages in the collation together form a surface; and wherein a single strip of tape is adhered only to said surface of the collation such that the single strip of tape attaches the packages in the collation together.
